Rhoads family connection
Randall, I am contacting you because I noticed that you are the manager of the memorials for Isaac Rhoads and his wife Mary Ann East.

Their son Asa Rhoads, who later in his life went by the name Archie Rollins, was my dad's paternal grandfather.

I was wondering if you had any information on the Rhoads family that you would be willing to share with me?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Darn! I am of no help to you. My husband's family is from South Carolina. I wish you all the best in your search.

RE: Charles BW Bennett
I am transferring his listing to you so you can add information and/or links. The person that created the memorial has her account shut down and the administrators have assigned many of her listings to me to maintain, doing transfers and updates. I do not have information about any of the people. I would suggest you contact another member named Ella Buzzard. She volunteers at the Crawford and Cherokee County Historical/Genealogy locations and has access to a treasure trove of information.
Best regards

Your Mom
I am a friend of your Aunt Rita and am helping her work on your grandmother's birth father, Rhoads. I think I have found a strong candidate for her father. Ask your Mom to go look at this picture and see if she sees any resemblance in these people to her mom or any of you. I was looking at the picture of Debbie you put up and I think there is a strong resemblance. This might possibly be the grandparents of Kathy's Mom, Elizabeth Ann Abel Chapman, who was adopted by George Abel, but her birth name was Rhoads.

Rita and I went to school together and your Mom will remember me, she knew me by Sue Oyler. I spent many days with your grandmother, great grandmother Dee Meredith, and your mother and Debbie when they were growing up in Chanute. I now live in Johnson City, Tn
