I am our family historian and enjoy it a great deal, although I only get to spend time at it in 'fits and spurts'. It reminds me that we are all more connected than we think.

Memorial to Paul Shoup
Would you consider nominating Paul Shoup, in Alta Mesa Cemetery, as a famous person?

Here is a link to his wiki page for context:

Mary Murphy
Hi - No relation at all. My in-laws are buried there, so I took the time to enter other people and as much information as I could about them. I transfered Mary to you. I love it when people find relatives. Good Luck, Barb

Esther Oxsen
I recently inherited some photos from my great-aunt. The collection included a black and white picture of a young woman, accompanied by a man, labeled "Esther Oxsen, Pleasanton, Cal" on the back. The woman looks to be in her late teens or early twenties. Judging from the style of dress, I am guessing the photo was taken sometime around 1910-1920. If you think the person in the photo might be the same Esther Oxsen as your relative, please let me know. I would be happy to scan the photo or mail it to you.

John Merrill
Oxsen family
I see you have set up memorials for Peter C. and Anna Marie Oxsen. They had a son, Walter Theodore Oxsen (1894-1982) who married a family member of mine, Grace Etta Merrill (1890-1979). They died in El Dorado Co., CA. Do you have any knowledge of Walter and Grace, where they are buried, etc.? Thanks, J.W.M.
