John W Edmons # 21834295
Hi Rhonda,
Do you have a photo of John W Edmons' tombstone from Talbott Cemetery in Belington, WV or other records to verify his death date? In his memorial, you listed his death date as 17 Jul 1905. There seems to be questions about when died. His grand daughter, Violet McElwee, thought that he died in 1914. There is no death certificate for him in the West Virginia Archives. The 1910 census indicates that he was or may have been an inmate in the Weston State Hospital for the Insane on 20 Apr 1910. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Lula Sherman Wilson
Please link Lula Sherman Wilson as 2 nd wife of Albert J. Wilson.
She married him in 1933 and he died in 1940 in a logging accident, I believe.

Lula Sherman Wilson is buried at Central Chapel Cemetery, Barbour Co., WV, next to her sister, Ora Sherman Booth.

Lula was the sister of my grandfather, Walter W. Sherman.

Rhonda, you have a memorial for an S.P. Shaffer, husband of Elmira Shaffer. Do you have any information on him? I have a family tree that was done in 1935 which shows a Silas Peter Shaffer as a son of Paul Shaver/Shaffer. Paul is my 3rd great grandfather). I found the death certificate on Silas, which list his father as Paul Shaver, but I'm pretty much convinced that it is another Paul Shaver. I have not been able to find Silas anywhere except for the death certificate.

Doing research on the Talbott's I came across three cemetery's with the Talbott name at The Allegheny Regional Family History Society under Barbour County Cemetery Descriptions. Most are in and around Phillipi and not Bellington. Could you tell me if they have been moved or not?
