Genealogy is a passion of mine from when I was very young. My grandmother told me wonderful stories about our families and I have been doing family history for over 30 years. I have traveled all over the world photographing family graves and writing books on my different families. I need another 25 years to finish everything I have started!
Names I research: Webb; Mickel; Cartwright; White; Doubleday;Coode; Pendleton; Reeves/Reaves; Witsell; Schoonover; Wells; Lyons (Ireland) Stopher; de Fremery; Nederburg; Gaines; Steele; Herckenrath; de Magnan; Suermondt; Parr; Keeley; (Ireland) Douglass; Henley; Bennett; Flowers; Slye; Gerrard; Reuben William Smith (Mo., Tx, CA.) | RE: Wyatt Hillmon Mangum My pleasure. Wyatt's wife Virginia (Davis) is in the same cemetery so you might want to link them. Samuel Gains Mangum was married to Susan Alberta Bailey (listed as Susan B. Mangum) in the same cemetery so you might want to link them as well. The James S. Mangum and Susan T. Mangum in that cemetery were Samuel's parents. | | | RememberThem
 | Albert Watt Miller A question about Albert Watt Miller.
Do you think memorial 22271341 is for Albie, son of Robert Watt Miller and Leonora von Wertheimer?
If you agree, I'll ask the memorial manager to link him to his parents.
thank you for the help. Ev

 | RE: Leonora von Wertheimer Thank you for the transfer. This is indeed an interesting family. Lawton Filer's father was significant in the development and use of the modern irrigation systems. The farming community Filer, Idaho (est. 1906) was named in honor of him.

 | Thomas Gerrard I have been trying to find where the Ark and Dove plaque is posted that you have on Thomas's memorial page. Where is it?
Since it is not a grave photo, it should be listed as "Other" | | | gwen plyler
 | RE: Rev. Henry Gaines, South Carolina I didn't take the photo, it was a volunteer. | | | Ron Zils
 | Richard Bennett 1836-1888 Hi Karen. I am researching the Bennett and Tompkins family for my friend Cecil Tompkins, now age 92. He was married to Naomi Dee Bennett, 1924-2003. Richard Bennett would have been her grandfather. I see you entered information on Richard and his wife, Anne Finlayson, noting their move from Canada to Des Moines, and eventually to Arkansas. I am hitting a dead end about where and when Richard would have emigrated to Canada from England. I am only assuming he went their first, as he was married to Anne in Ontario in 1866. Do you have any additional information on Richard or can you possibly point me in the right direction? Thank you so much, I was just thrilled to find Richard and the information you entered.

 | Carpenter Family Cementery Karen, I was shocked to see my dad's grave stone on Find A Grave. Thank you so much. I can't wait to let my sister and brothers know. You are doing a wonderful service. I do need to clarify a few things. When the Carpenter Family Site was described, (I don't know who to contact) it was entered in incorrect. The Carpenter site is the one inside the chain link fence and it has always been kept up. The graves on the outside belong to Allens if I'm correct. Also when mentioning AC Carpenter as the husband of Attie, it should say Pattie not Attie. My dad, his parents, his brother's first wife and infant son, his uncle, his brother's daughter and her 1st and second husband, and a son are in the cementery. I do thank you for what you have done. | | | Ivy Mccollum
 | RE: Unice Frampton Thank you Karen! | | | Ivy Mccollum
 | Frampton, Unice Karen,
Thank you for entering my g-g grandmotherm Unice Frampton in Find a grave. I lived relatively close to Ebenezer Cemetary, in which she is buried. Bev Poling has just transferred her husband's find a grave to me, so that I may edit and add information and pictures to it. Would you be interested in transferring Unice to me, or do you prefer to have information sent to you to be edited and added?
Again, I want to thank you for all the time you have dedicated to find a grave. It means so much to so many, but only a hand-full of those that benefit will take time to thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. | | | Mary Ann Loss
 | RE: Bill Keith Hi, Have you noticed that there are two cemeteries with similar names and almost the same memorials? There's Keith Family Private Cemetery and Keith Ray Family Cemetery. I don't know which is the correct one. Just in case, I added memorials to the latter one. Any advice? MA | | | | [View all messages...] |
