I love genealogy and have been working on my dad's half for over 20 years. My mom has worked her side of the family for much longer and taught me how. :)
The surnames in my direct lineage are: BORDEN, CAMPBELL, CONLEY, CRITTENDEN, DEMENT, DUNN, EVANS, HAWKINS, HOCKER, HOLMES, JONES, LANGLEY, LYNN, MABRY, MARTIN, MATLOCK, McCALISTER, METZGER, MOORE, PENNINGTON, PRESLEY, PURDY, STILES, TAYLOR, THARP, WEBB, WEST, WILLIS, WREN.
If you are connected to my family or think you may be connected, feel free to email me. I'd love to hear from you! :)

 | RE: My Penningtons & Crittendens Kemu,
Sarah A Pennington b 1807 GA and Charles Monroe Willis are not listed in my line of family..
Lafayette Crittenden b 1852 AL, son of Richard Oscar Crittenden b 1807, son of James Crittenden are not listed in my line of family
Sorry I could not help with this line of Crittendens or Penningtons. | | | Barbara Pennington
 | RE: Another Pennington Kemu, hello! I have checked 6 family trees I have access to and on a private Pennington websiteand Ancestry.com search information I cannot prove that Elizabeth Pennington B 1856 AL existed after being in the 1870 census, living with Martha Ann Matlock, (her maiden name)b abt 1839 AL -d 1909 Franklin County AL married abt 1868 AL to Henry Carroll Willis 1826 MS - d 1905 Franklin County, AL and several Willis Children.
Elizabeth Pennington does not show up in the 1880 AL census with the Willis family. Nor can I prove that Martha Ann Matlock married a Pennington. I have to assume that Elizabeth Pennington was adopted by the Willis family after Henry and Martha married in 1868. It is entirely possible either Henry or Martha had a family connection to a Pennington thru marriage and Elizabeth was an orphan.
I did not find information that Elizabeth married after The 1870 census record. There are many Elizabeth Pennington names in Pennington clan, but no dates matched her birth date. Sorry could not be of anymore help on this Pennington. | | | Halla Graves
