 | Milestown/Oaklane M. E. Cemeteries Gene, I have two notices that give Milestown M. E. Church. Am finding that apparently Milestown became Oaklane M. E., but nothing is mentioned in the review. I assume these two notices should then go into Oaklane M. E.? Thank you, Jane | | | Colleen Conner-Kolakowski
 | Sponsorship of Jacob Peeky Hi Glen:
I was glad that I was able to sponsor my 5 times great-grandfather. Thank you very much for posting all the information about Jacob Peeky. I am descended from his grand-daughter Anna Lareine Peeky. I am also named for Anna Lareine. My full name is Colleen Lareine Conner Kolakowski.
Thank you again. Colleen | | | Vincent Summers

 | RE: Christ Church, etc. I looked at the actual record. It lists Mt Airy, Philadelphia County as the place. I cannot read the name of the clergy. The parish register started in 1854 listing parishoners, baptisms, mariages states Christ Church Germantown Philadelphia County. Thank you. That is all I know at this point.Added by Har37x on Oct 09, 2012 9:47 AM | | | Jami Vancil
 | Longshore Family Hello
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jami Vancil, I am currently searching my Longshore roots. I believe that I am a direct descendent of Robert Longshore. I am having trouble locating family records for Asher and Sarah (Powers) Longshore.
Asher and Sarah were Quakers, however, records indicate that he mustered with the militia in PA and was summarily disowned. I continue to search for any birth records of their children.
Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated, I am willing to travel to do research, but I need to know where the best place to start is. I use Ancestry.com regularly and have been to Ohio, Louisiana and Indiana searching for paper records.
Thank you so much for your attention in this matter.

 | Matthias Knorr 77883170 Well, Matthias died in 1862 so is it possible that he just may not be accounted for in the record books since it's well after the 1737 period that you mentioned. If there is a clear uncertainty I would like to leave him as buried in that cemetery until proven otherwise however if you feel that it is highly unlikely that he is buried there despite what I have found (as errors do exist) I will go ahead and remove him. Please let me know.

 | RE: Alfred Roebuck Laurel Hill has no record of him so I will have to put him in burial unknown. Thanks for catching my error. MegAdded by Meges on Sep 04, 2012 2:36 PM | | | C. Ingraham
 | Matthias Knorr 77883170 Hi. I will take him out of Hood Cemetery but before I do, when you say there is no record of him in Hood Cemetery does that mean that everyone buried in that cemetery is accounted for. Just thought I asked first before I made a change.
Thanks Craig Ingraham a direct descendant of Matthias Knorr | | | | [View all messages...] |
