I have always been intersted in my family history. Most people think I'm crazy, if I see a cemetery I want to stop and take pictures. I have had people say, you don't even know anybody in there. My responds. but somebody does, and they might be looking for them. If you think I might be crazy for spening my days off in a cemetery, you should be there, when I am talking to the people there. lol I flip back and forth from findagrave & ancestry.

The family names I am most interested in are

Hunting down Hellweg & all variants of the spelling. -primarily found in Missouri, Illinois, and Germany..

Rich & Riggs in Central Illinois

Ramsey, & Priest in Missouri & Tennessee

Dorsey & Parrish in Texas.

If I have entered a duplicate memorial of one of yours or mine or if you have any additional info or corrections let me know. Please add Find A Grave in the subject line. This will not offend me.

Thanks to everyone that added pictures, flowers and additional info to the memorials. It is a blessing to see what we can do when we work together.

James D Willie
Hello, I've added pictures from the Martin/England Cemetery at Sycamore. I believe James is named James Richard Willey AKA Uncle Dick which is where the "D" came from. I've always seen his last name spelled Willey but on the headstone it is Willie.

Terry, thought I would let you know that I am adding burial record for Virginia "Jennie" Chilton Ayers Ward. She was Joseph A. Ayers's wife, His memorial #99851637. I have a copy of her death certificate and family records indicating she was buried in Mt. Olivet. She married a Ward after Joe died in 1915. I am trying to link all the children of my gg grandfather Chilton to their parents and their spouses where possible.

June
What is your relationship to June and Bill? I can transfer them if you are related? Our family has a special history with them, but we aren't blood relatives. Let me know, as I would be happy to transfer them.
Happy Easter!
Pat
