I am a genealogist who likes to help others when I can. During my research of my own family lines I sometimes noted burial information of others in the same cemetery with the same surname. I did add those to find a grave so all could see them.

Sadly, most of my own ancestors are buried in unmarked and/or term graves, and buried over. I'd love to win the Lotto and exhume them all to rebury them in a cemetery controlled by caring genealogists! What I have seen so far is sickening, especially considering that I am the only one alive in my family that seems to care.

I am now unable to continue additions to find a grave, but still have some memorials out there. If you have information on any of your relatives, and want me to transfer ownership please email me. I will gladly honor your request. Since biographies were done based only on cemetery information, I do not have anything further and will not change the biographies but will be happy to transfer ownership.

I'm thankful for the find a grave site, which has helped me locate many long lost relatives that I would not otherwise have found. I hope all of you continue the excellent resource this site has provided.

May all of you find every leaf that has fallen from your family tree!

Please look at both memorials again. The information is identical with the exception of the mis-spelling of the last name.

John and Mary Wilfers
Here is the final information for John and Mary Wilfers, interred in Saint Boniface Cemetery, Chicago, IL. Records show John being buried in Section AA, Block 3, Grave 10 with an interment date of 7/25/1900, and Maria Wilfers (this is how the records show her name)in Section A, Block 31, Grave 10, with an interment date of 6/17/1896. The location of both of these graves were in term sections of the cemetery and no longer exist. I'm sorry I could not provide you with anything more.

Schwickrather / Schergen
Thank you for the note and I do hope you are in better health soon. I have added additional photos to Jacob and Nettie Schwickrath's memorial pages per your suggestion. I am headed off to St. Boniface Cemetery now to look for five Schergen's and four more Schwickrath's that I found in the cemetery records. I still have not given up on Locating John and Maria Wilfers. Today may be my lucky day.

Wilfers / Schwickrath
Re: John Wilfers - As I mentioned a couple weeks ago in a note on your photo request, the AA section of St. Boniface Cemetery was term graves and no longer exists. The cemetery records show John Wilfers as being in section AA.

Update today: I met the caretaker of the cemetery today and he was so very helpful. There is an AA section still, but it is only about 3 rows of graves. I searched for Wilfers and still was not able to find him. I did however find another name you had mentioned in a different section of the cemetery. Jacob Schwickrath ( 1893-1958 ) and Netti Schwickrath ( 1895-1950 ) Do they belong to you? I'd be happy to post the photos I've taken of their markers

Cheryl for several reasons I no longer give out my email address on F.A.G. If you would like to transfer the Higgins memorials to me all you need is my contributor number which is 46594703. Just so you know these people are not my family either. If you choose not to transfer them to me, please make the requested corrections.

Helen L Boerner
You are very welcome for the information. If you have anyone that you would like me to link Helen and Frank too, I would be glad to do so. I did go back and link them together and put in her maiden name. I don't live in Leavenworth so I don't know who everyone's family is like I do in my own community.

Happy Hunting
