I am looking for any information you may have on the parents of Nathan Turner (1789-1840). I have the parents as William and Sarah Turner of Virginia. I am trying to verify this relationship and get answers to some of the questions I have about William. I descend from Anna Turner (sister of Nathan and daughter of William/Sarah) who moved to Missouri circa 1830s. Nathan's widow and son moved near Anna and her husband John Casey after his death. I appreciate any help! Thanks

Hannah Jones
Hi Audrae,

I am so sorry for my delay in thanking you for the transfer of Hannah Snelling Jones. I have been busy with Spring time chores here and time kind of got away from me. Wanted to thank you and acknowledge receipt of her memorial.

You made this memorial a long time ago in Findagrave terms. I appreciate your doing that and adding the photo.

I would like to ask for your permission to use that photo (and others you may have taken of gravestones of my ancestors) in my family tree on Because the photographer has a copyright for each photo, I always ask before using a photo on another web site. I will, of course, put your name as the photographer and the web site of the memorial(s) as the source.

Thank you for considering my request,

Shadrach Mooneyham
A Shadrach Mooneyham grave is located on private land in Browning Twp. very near, but not in, the Mt Pleasant Cem., Franklin Co., IL. Not sure if it is Jr or Sr., as no other details were legible. They died just a couple of years apart. Jr was administrator for the estate of Shadrach Sr and hadn't closed the estate yet when he also died, so the two estates got mixed into one file, with one of Shadrach Jr's sons taking over as admin.
In recent years, the name James has been added to Shadrach Jr & Sr. I'd really like to know where that came from-????

do you know if Daniel Epps' father was named Enoch? I am trying to link him up. Was he a civil war casualty?
