RE: Holland
The LDS will be releasing the early CA death index soon so that should answer some questions. The cemetery book show the space as reserved by Amanda Holland and then shows :Saletia and 1903 typed in later and the reserved entry below for Amanda has an added date for her burial of 11/1/23 so I thought the Interment.net entry might be a hint also. Thanks for the help.

Preserving the Past
Help Needed
Hi Anne, It's been a while..how are you and yours? Hope you holidays were beautiful and full of love, laughter, and good cheer. I was wondering if you might do me a BIG favor and go to this memorial number 103767435 and vote on how famous James A. Hood was or wasn't. I need 10 votes for it to post as a famous memorial. Thanks bunches! Your F.A.G. friend ~ Debbie

RE: Oak Forest Cemetery
From what I have read, the hospital has complete lists of those buried there and the South Suburban Genealogical & Historical Society was able to obtain 7 books of burials. The books have been microfilmed and are available for viewing at the SSGHS Library in Hazel Crest. It doesn't mention a plot map tho so I'm not sure if the hospital has one and won't give it up or what. I'm hoping to see the books since it has Names, Date of Death, Interment dates, age, lot, grave and place of death (including street address and name of hospitals if they died at one).

You might also want to try St. Gabriel in Oak Forest, Mt. Glenwood (formally known as Archer Woods Cemetery) in Willow Springs and Homewood Memorial Gardens in Homewood IL. These were also used as potter's fields and have several (or all) unmarked graves. Two others of interest are St. John the Baptist Episcopal and Lutheran Cemetery but I'm not 100% sure where those are located.
