Just a friendley undertaking;|
I came upon this site while working on our family genealogy. What a wonderful tool this is.
If you have a correction on any of the memorials I have entered, please feel free to e-mail me and I would be happy to make the correction, add a photo.
I have entered most all of our relatives in (Ancestry.com. COOPER7710 )Have tried to keep both up to date.
So if you don't find all you are looking for in F.A.G., you may want to check the above. :-)
Thank you for your visit and
have A great day,
Diamond Lake, Il.

My 2nd great grandparents are Martin and Teresa Kuklinski. He died in Poland before she immigrated with her children to Chicago then Oshkosh, WI. around 1890. The son that stayed in Chicago is also the the one who led the way to America by immigrating in 1882, then saving enough money to send for his mother and siblings.That son, George Albert Kuklinski b. 1863, is my paternal great grandfather. He married twice. By his first wife he had Martin Leo Kuklinski b.1888, who inherited his father's house in Chicago. He m. Marie Zielinski and had Martin Frank b 1926 (m. Rose Duda), Edward b. 1928, George Albert b.1929, and Rosemary b. 1932. George Albert's second wife, Julianna Redlarska b. 1871, bore him 5 children: Rose b. 1892, Helen b. 1894, John Frank b. 1895, Victoria b. 1897 and Joseph b. 1901. Helen died in chidbirth and her father "adopted" his grandson, Harry Kuklinski b. 1911. John, my grandfather, m. Clara Tesmer; they had one child, Clarence John b. 1921, and eventually resided in Oak Park. Rose married 3 times including Stanley Urban and Ned Templin; she did not have children. Victoria m. Albert Kucik and had at least: Arnella b. 1923, Veldene b. 1925, Martin b. 1927 and Aloysius b. 1937. Joseph Kuklisnki m. Sophie Stasik b. 1905. Their children were: Eugene, Rita, Ralph and Robert. Rita m. Frank Mullins.

|Wendy M.||RE: Landau, August|
Please feel free to add me as one of your favs. I wouldn't mind in the least as I have already added you. You and I have had a previous conversation due to the fact that we have distant family in Diamond Lake Cemetery. One of my connections there is Mary (Cooper) Gosswiller.
I am a little confused, however. In looking over my records, I can't seem to find a memorial for August Landau anywhere.
Since I try to be as accurate as possible, would it be possible to give me the memorial numbers for the two that seem to be a duplicate? I always appreciate any feedback on something I might have entered incorrectly.
I have walked through countless cemeteries originally seeking information on my direct ancestors. In doing so I found myself wanting to help others by recording as many burial records I come across to the find a grave website.
Thanks for your kind words and as soon as you can give me the memorial numbers, I will make the necessary corrections.

|Wendy M.||Thomas Cooper-Diamond Lake Cemetery|
Nice to hear from you again. Thomas Cooper is not related to me; however, his daughter, Mary, was married to Fred Gosswiller, a great grand uncle of mine.
Unfortunately, I am not able to shed any light on the correct year of birth for Thomas. I, too, have found discrepancies between headstone dates and census dates when doing my own research and I am not really sure why there is such a difference between the two. Perhaps our ancestors were trying to play some kind of joke on us!!
All I know at this point is what is stated on his headstone, which reads: Dec. 20, 1826.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

|L Winslow||RE: Blanche Field Stried|
I do not know how Blanche is related to the Field family, although of course George Field is on the same stone. Perhaps her mother Sophia was married to George Field before she married Mr. Elye.
There is no Sarah Cooper buried at Diamond Lake.
The photo of Blanche's headstone was taken at Diamond Lake Cemetery.
Please change "Elye" from her middle name to her maiden name.
And if her mother was Sarah Cooper Elye, then please change it - it's shown as "Ely" on FindAGrave.
|Jeff Howe||RE: Christ F Howe|
Thanks for responding so quickly! My g-grandfather is William F Howe, the youngest of eight children of Christ Howe (Maria Bollow). His oldest brother is Charles...
You seem to have a lot of information I do not have. All I know is that my g-g-grandfather Christ Howe (Maria Bollow) and their first four or five children emigrated to the United States. I had no idea he had a brother who also came!
I will check the information you sent me as soon as I'm done typing!
Thanks again, Jeff
