I started this project when my daughter was in high school. She had a project to complete a report about the country of her origin. I suggested that we purchase software to make a nice presentation. My life changed on that day in 1996. I became obcessed when each new addition to my family presented me with more questions than answers. |
I have enjoyed making contacts with relatives that I would have never known without this research. I learned quickly that it was easier to get information from the dead than it was from the living!
My roots take me through Pa., and TEXAS. I am currently researching the following surnames: Parks, Altman, Steele, Lucas, VanGorder, Wilson, Priester, Seybert, Hoop, Fleming, Campbell, McAninch, Reynolds and probably a few more.
I am eager to help and share. PLEASE USE THE SUGGESTION BUTTON FOR ADDITIONS OR TRANSFERS! Good luck on your journey!
NOTE to photo volunteers:
Effective July 1, 2013
Placing a volunteer photo uploaded after July 1, 2013 onto a memorial that I created gives me the option of re-posting to a shared spouse FAG memorial and/or my own personal use if I am a descendant of that person. No photo will be used in any publication...only for my own genealogy records!
Thank you for volunteering!

How have you been? I am glad I am able to reconnect with you! I have a question for you: Do you have any information about the children of Henry and Margaret Gobel Seybert...as in birthdates for Elizabeth and Catherine and who they married? And a birthday or death date for Adam or John? Also, I had a James b. 1810 listed on my family tree, but I don't see him on your list, or know how I got him on mine. Does that sound familiar?
thanks so much!!

Thank you, Bonnie, for linking these family members for me!
Best regards - Steve

Thanks, I live in Marshall so I can take care of everything else. I just really liked the headstone photo you posted on my father's memorial page and, since it reads TAYLOR only, I'd like to see it on my mother's memorial page. jt

Bonnie, my mother, Marie Smithen Taylor, died today and will be buried at Colonial Gardens, Marshall, TX next Tues. Her memorial is 119669488. You posted a very nice family headstone photo on my dad's Memorial# 12927557. Would you please post that same photo to my Mom's memorial page? Thanks, Johnny Taylor
Ah, that makes sense!

On your bio of him, it first says that he was an only child, but then lists siblings, which other sources show to be true.
