I've been running my families genealogy since 1998, I have a pretty extensive file on my Mills Family. I also transcribed area cemetaries and especically interested in finding the obscure and forgotten ones. If you know the whereabouts of one in the CSRA, please send me an email... Thanks|

Funny. I knew what you meant. I must do that on my phone so much now that I don't even see mistakes anymore.

The only dates on the gravestone, are the ones on the front. If you can't read them let me know, I have a hi-res copy of the picture. I also visited the cemetery and there was a stone for "Alfred Simon Hill" next to the stone for Melvina Hill. I have added his information to the database and a photo. There was also a stone for Harry Hill and his wife Elizabeth MacGregor in front of the stone for Melvina Hill. They were already in the database, but I added a photo.

I searched the Bay Branch Cemetery again today. I took pictures of all of the Wilson name graves. I did not find one with his names in any combination or the correct birth/death dates. I did take photos of a Wilson group of stones surrounded with granite. Next to it is two unmarked graves. Most likely one of these is your relative's grave. I will be happy to email these pictures to you and you can decide what to do with them. I am going to add the pictures of the other Wilson's graves to Find A Grave.
Let me know what you would like to do. Thanks!

|Denise L||Corrie Wilson Request|
Do you think his grave might say William Wilson? I am just trying to figure out how to find it. I have found in the past that many of the old-timers only had the name they were called on their tombstones. I hate my first name so my stone will have my middle name on it. Next time I am in Screven County, I will go over there to Bay Branch and look for a stone with the correct dates on it under William Wilson. Will let you know what I find out.

|Denise L||Corrie Wilson Photo Request|
My husband and I searched the Bay Branch Baptist Cemetery today for the photo request you made of Corrie Wilson. We could not find her grave. I will try and get in touch with our Baptist Association office and get the number for the pastor or cemetery leader and get some info for you. I will respond when I have further information.

Hi Brenda - that you for taking the time to ask questions regarding the Find A Grave memorial page for Horace Pike.
The original info was added by Patricia Sauwmell who has passed away. Your question sent me to ancestry.com to check, and I found that the wound info was incorrect. There is a ton of military info regarding Horace on the ancestry site.
Anyway you might enjoy reading the follow-up note I've added.
Thank you so very much again, for your questions.

When you ask for a transfer, or offer a correction or update to a memorial, it would be easier for the recipient (here - me), to make the change if you use the "Edit" tab on the memorial. Thanks.
