My name is John. I live in Los Angeles, California. I am the eldest of 4 children. I was born on January 17th in Petaluma, California to James and the Late Marjorie Rodriguez. I was brought up an Air Force military brat. My Dad retired in 1969 after serving 21 years in the Air Force. My brother Jim and I served in the Air Force. Jim serving in England and I served in Southeast Asia (Korea/Thailand) during the Viet Nam Conflict, Texas and North Carolina. My brother Ed served in the Navy. Lisa is married to a wonderful man and has 3 children. I have a daughter, Monica, who lives in North Carolina. I miss and love her very much. We lost our Mom when I was 16 years old and have lived daily with the tears and saddness of our families loss. But, since finding this site I have been able to try and heal my inner feelings. Leaving messages, flowers, flags, etc for the many who are seeking inner freedom and spirituality for their loss has given me strength. I feel good about doing that. Even if deep down inside I continue to feel sorrow not only for my losses but for others. God has a plan for each of us. I know that He will not call us to Him unless He has a plan with Him beyond our life on earth. May God Bless you and let His light continue to guide you. | |

 | Salty Thanks for thinking of Bill and my family almost 10 years ago. As our kids have grown, I decided to start charting the family and came across your memorial to him. Thanks for having the caring to set it up and maintain it all these years. I don't plan to make many changes, just link family. If I can ever help you from this end of the country, please let me know.
Fondly, Melissa Watkins | | | Liberty ღ Marty

 | Daniels I will be going back up to Pikeville to chart the middle of the cemetery I ran out of daylight last week. As it is a rather large cemetery. | | | Kathleen Judkins-Gerard

 | RE: Thank You Hello John, I want to thank you so much for the kind words for Thanksgiving. I haven't been able to get to my site either. I moved and with my son in high school now, it seems as if I never have enough time during the day to do all that I want to do. Taking it easy, stress free and my son and I are going to Arizona for the Christmas break. (God willing) we've had over 30 inches of snow so far this winter. Oct alone. I hope the weather will be fine for our trip. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I pray that all is well with you and your family and that you all have a Happy Christmas. Sincerely, Rachel | | | Scarlet Fan
