Rose Hill Memorial Gardens at Missouri Valley, Iowa.

I have now entered 632 of the 2362 total memorials for this location. Over 90% of them are from the W.P.A. cemetery registration project from the 1930's.

I know there are mistakes (transcription errors) in the W.P.A. records, but there are also mistakes on Findagrave done by 'WE' modern users too. Please, if you find any mistakes in my Rose Hill records--let me know so that I can fix them.

I have logged about 4 hours in the cemetery .

As of: 25 July 2014
632 - names I've entered
2362 - total for Rose Hill

Oak Grove Cemetery at St. Johns near Missouri Valley, Iowa.

I am still working on the Oak Grove Cemetery near Missouri Valley (Old Town), Harrison County, Iowa. Oak Grove is my #1 work project.

Storm Damage at Oak Grove on 6-3-2014.

I have logged about 132+ hours in the cemetery .

As of: 22 July 2014
1044 - names I've entered
1587 - total for Oak Grove

I have taken some of the Oak Grove names from the 1930's W.P.A. Cemetery Registration Project.

If any of you find a name I entered from the W.P.A. records, is incorrect--please get in touch with me. I know that the W.P.A. records may not be 100% accurate, but I can only go by what they entered. And for the most part, they wouldn't have entered a name if it hadn't been there. If you find something wrong, please let me know.

I am originally from Richmond, Indiana; but I currently live in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

RE: Noyes Cemetery Photo
I was just driving around and found the cemetery at that time. Judging by the cloud pattern and sky color last night would have been another great time to get something similar :(

RE: George and Phyllis LaFarge
Ron, I can't thank you enough...not just for the photos, but for your loving care of one of my family gravestones....I tend the ones in Michigan...but the out of state ones are beyond my reach. I really appreciate all your efforts....I've done research for 26 years now and have JUST found Phyllis Nash after searching for her for years!! Thanks again

Ron I had an old picture thought was Calvin, but for several years could not find the stone to go with the picture. Perkins Cemetery when I was there today and took a number of pics. And enlarging them and working with them anyway, there it was but it is not the same pic so I changed them out and ther correct picture is with Calvin. and now I have someone else the pic that was on there came from Perkins so another mystery.
