Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love genealogy and visiting cemeteries. I'm hoping by listing cemeteries in the area where I live (Greenville, Laurens & Spartanburg Counties, SC)I will be able to help someone in their research. Unfortunately I am not related to any of the entries I have made for SC. Please Email me any corrections. Some of the families I am researching are: Arrasmith,Bailey,Baum, Bish,Bray,Conner,Coon,Coonrod,Cornell,Dixson,
Farley,Hall,Johnson,Jones,Locknane,Marlin,
Middleton,Petty,Phipps,Pollock,Sykes,Thompson,
Welch & Willis.
Thanks to all who Email and let me know I've helped. I have noticed a lot of my pictures are making their way to Ancestry.com. I don't mind but would truly appreciate you noting where the picture came from.
WE WILLINGLY MAKE TRANSFERS WITHIN THE 4 GENERATION "FAG" GUIDELINES WHICH ARE:

Benjamin Griffith in McDaniel Cemetery
Robin, I do not need a photo! You did however post one on Find A Grave and I do appreciate that! My question: can you tell me the names of the people that surround him? My concern is where his wife is buried, if she is buried there under her maiden name or even in the same cemetery since she was a McDaniel I would have thought she would have been in there but I do not see a memorial for her unless she is under the McDaniel name. Another theory was there is no marker for her any longer. Just not sure. If you are unable to find her anywhere in there I do appreciate your efforts! Her name was Mary Polly McDaniel. Thank You

Thanks for the memorials you have created
Robin,

I am grateful for your efforts to provide information and photos on Find a Grave. Your posting of the information for Sophia and MJL Godfrey helped me put the puzzle pieces together and solve a family mystery. Sophia's daughter, Maggie, was born in 1860. Her twin sister (MJL) and her mother, Sophia, died shortly after birth. I spoke with some of my father's cousins in the 1980s and none of Maggie's living descendants knew anything of her father or mother. They knew Maggie had other siblings, and named them. After recently coming upon my notes from that time, I was able to look up the siblings and find Sophia and MJL on Find a Grave. During finding them, I was able to find Maggie's father and other siblings as well. The twin sister had 1 days difference between her birth date and Maggie's. I also found in the 1860 Census Mortality Schedule that Sophia died of typhoid fever. Using sibling death certificates and the information on here, I discovered that the father James R Godfrey had 3 wives, 2 of which died around the time of a childbirth.

Thanks again for all you do.

God bless,

Alan Poore

RE: Greenville Memorial
It was so along ago and I covered so much but I do know for certain that I didn't get to do section B (left side as you enter along highway). If section B on the left side doesn't cover the entire area along the highway then those graves need to be done also. This is the only section to my knowledge that did not get done.

Deimlings in St. Rose Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH
I have been working for days now trying to identify the members in a family plot at St. Rose. The cemetery office had a fire several decades ago and the original records were destroyed so they do not know who is buried in the cemetery. By comparing online trees and studying the grave markers, I believe I have identified the 9 members, including your Louis's parents Joseph & Mary. Feel free to look them over, connect them to Louis, and please let me know if you have any knowledge to add or find a mistake I've made with the 9. Joseph, wife #2 Margaret, wife #3 Mary, Franklin, George & wife, twins Jacob & Emma, Frances (whom I don't know the parents of). Thanks, Pamela
