In the picture are my handsome grandsons, brothers Stephen and Christopher. Stephen was a MP in Afghanistan. Christopher and his family are stationed in Ft. Stewart, Georgia. Christopher was stationed in Iraq. Due to an injury he and his family are still in Ft. Stewart. "BUT" Chris, Jess, Dakoda and Destiny will be moving back to Missouri before long. "No Place Like Home".
Pfc. Stephen Marcum, critically injured in Afghanistan (October 16, 2009).
Stephen and family have recently returned to their home town in Missouri.
I have a large family, and my family comes first. I have a wonderful brother, a wonderful sister and their families that share a large piece of my heart. Right now my sister's cancer is remission. She is such a giving and sweet person. Thank you so much for all the prayers. Our niece Rhonda has lung cancer, finished her chemo but losing the battle...Rhonda Lee Boyd lost her battle June 5, 2011. Her father and our brother Bob went to his heavenly home November 21, 2009 after a short illness. He is buried in Mt. View, Missouri beside his loving wife Mary Ann.
Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Iberia, Missouri has always been my favorite cemetery.
If I have entered a duplicate memorial of one of yours or mine or if you have any additional info or corrections let me know. Please add Find A Grave in the subject line. This will NOT offend me.
A big extra hug to a very special lady, Frances Quisenberry. We met this lovely Lady one time several years ago. I love her dearly. She provides me with so much information that I am blessed to share with all of you. (She was one of the volunteers at Audrain Co. Missouri Area Genealogical Society. Francis passed away in Dec. 2011, she was one of our founding members).
