Are you related to Early and Maggie Poole? If so I would be happy to transfer their memorials to you.

RE: John B. Russell - in Colorado
The Department of Corrections would like to send an invitation to any family members who may be able to attend the ceremony.
I do not have your email address (just the Findagrave contact info).
If you would like to have that invitation, please email me at coloradogramma@gmail.com
Thank you.

John B. Russell
There will be a Memorial Ceremony and stone laying for John B. Russell in May 30,2016.
The Department of Corrections is planning a very elaborate ceremony with color guard, speakers and bugle playing. They have a flag with coins which they like to present to family members.
Do you know of anyone in that family who is still alive, or close to Colorado?
Thank you.

RE: Dianne Elizabeth Haenlein
Thanks for getting back to me.

I did not get your last message; I am not sure why. I was in Daytona at Christmas and went to the address that was in a directory linked to Dianne's name and found out that David is still living at that address. I didn't find the address until my last day there and David was at work so I did not get to meet up with him and I have not written to him yet.

My father never spoke about his previous marriage to Beth. There were allusions to what happened and I remember an aunt looking at a photo of a car saying that it was a photo taken of the car before the crash, but she quickly changed the subject.

We would hear from Dianne on occasion including news about her going to East Carolina College (now University) in Greenville, NC. We went to visit her when she was living in Pennsylvania with her husband Frank when David, Rachel and Aaron were very young. I also met her husband Bruce once in North Carolina. Our father retired to Hendersonville North Carolina where she and my father were trying to patch up their relationship. Diane came to his house after he died, but I did not hear from her until a few years later when she wrote following Hurricane Katrina. I lost touch with her after that but did hear that she had married someone named Haenlein in Florida.

I have two different dates for her death. There did not seem to have been an obituary. I visited the Daytona paper but they do not have an archive.

I would love to know where Rachel is. I know Aaron taught at a school here in New Jersey for a while and then moved to New England sometime but I have not heard from him in many years either.

I appreciate what you wrote about my great great grandfather, I will add this to my family tree. I have a great grandfather, James Taylor West buried at Calvary Church in Fletcher, I would very much like to learn more about him. Can you help me? He was in the Civil War, had 10 children, his wife was Harriet Sumner West. I know of the 10 children but I don't know if he had any siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles.

Dianne Elizabeth Haenlein
I am Dianne's half sister. She and I have the same father - Lester B. Battles. I am unable to find an obit or death notice for Dianne to confirm date of death. How did you find the information that is included in Find a Grave? Are you related to Dianne?
