RE: Messer

My brother-in-law is James Keith Messer son of James & Mary Thompson Messer. Most of the Messer names I have added were in the cemeteries that I recorded & have added to find a grave. When I have time I go back & add information that I have to the Memorials.

RE: Charles Messer
Thank you for the corrections Randy. Sorry for the Cornelia mixup. Cornelia Temple Messer Seeley was the stepmother of Bess Clara Seeley Meyers (my grandaunt) and Bess' mother was Cornelia Birch Seeley. I have had a time trying to separate the two. Some researchers had the two "Nellies" merged into one.

RE: Messer,s Wakefield Cem
Hi Randy,

My source for the Wakefield Cemetery was Other than the three already shown to be buried there, there appear to be no other Messers. If you know that other Messers are buried in Wakefield, why not add their names yourself to that cemetery.

Sorry I could not be of more help,
Carolyn Wickens

RE: Willa J McCoy
Willia "Willie" Judy McCoy was born 1876 to John Greenway or Green McCoy b:abt 1850 and Sarah Hatfield b: abt 1850 but can not prove to much more about her parents. She had a sister Nora Belle McCoy b: 1877 that married Joseph Pleas Messer Sr. Willia's first daughter Sarah Nancy Messer b: 1901 her father was William "Willie" Turley Messer b: 1883, as far as we know Willia never married the Messer, She married in 1904 to Walter Anderson Holstein b:1870 and he raised Nancy Sarah as his own she used the Holstein name most of the time, but when I found her marriage certificate to Thomas J Carpenter b:1889 it told her father was William Turley Messer. She then was suppose to have married my grandpa John Harris Rollins b:1899, which we can not prove, John Harris Rollins was married to my Grandma Ella Francis Holstein b:1908 which is Sarah Nancy's sister.
Please let me know if this helps, I am still searching. I am on ancestry under jan19651 and I am doing the Barcus/Holstein tree.

RE: Pearl Messer Reeves
I'm working my friend's tree. She's trying to find a Native American connection with her Messer line. I saw Messers on the Rolls but haven't found a connection to them with the bazillion Messers I've located so far. I have to say....if one more person names their son Nelson or daughter Lydia, I'm going to SCREAM. I have gotten my tree so confused I'm afraid I'm going to have to chop it up and start over.

Pearl Wilburn Messer Reeves
I am finding multiple sites and Findagrave pages with her parents (William Messer and Lydia Nichols) and siblings listed but she always seems left out. Do you know why? Her number is 8517979

RE: Norman Messer
I made the edit you requested. In the future you should use the edit feature to do those kind of edits. People with a large number of memorials under management would much prefer that you did all the work of an update so they could approve with a single mouse click.

Culp Cemetery
Do you know what road Culp Cemetery is on? I know where Dew, Connor, and Saint Patrick's are but this is the first I have heard of Culp. I wonder if Culp Cemetery is nearer to Haydenville. Thanks for any info you have!
