Broadhurst Family Did I read in a post here that your wife is related to Sarah M. Broadhurst Brown? Sarah's brother, George E. Broadhurst was my 2x great grandfather. Their father was Jacob Wesley Broadhurst. Do you have any information any farther back than Jacob? That i where my dead-end is. You can email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!
RE: Great Cacapon cemetery Will send them in a few minutes. Always happy to give them to family and see more links get added. I try to research most of the memorials and put the family links in, but I haven't go through Greenway yet!
RE: Brown Family, Middle Patent Cemetery I think I remember my Aunt saying Terah lived on Trinity Pass Rd. George Hall Brown was my gg-grandmother Jennie Lind Brown's brother-My grandfather Robert Broadway climbed out the window one night and ran away from home and went to live with him at one time. My mother remembers all these people, you should talk to her! She said Clinton lived on South Bedford Rd. At any rate Terah's parents were Lorenzo D. Brown, 1808-1888 and Hannah Armstrong 1812-1888.Do you have an Ancestry.com account? I will send you a link to my account and you can view my tree Best Donna
RE: Brown Family, Middle Patent Cemetery Dear Bob Thanks for the info. I do remember my Aunt Mary saying where Terah and Sarah's house was- need to talk to them again.Mohican? We have a tradition in my family that we had a native American ancestor but no one knows who it was- We always thought it might have been through the Armstrong/Simpkins line.
RE: Brown Family, Middle Patent Cemetery Dear Bob, Terah & Sarah are my 3rd gg-grandparents through their daughter Jennie Lind who married Alonzo Alwin Abbott. Their daughter Phebe Elizabeth was my great grandmother- she married Charles Edgar Clark- had my grandmother Mary Elizabeth- her daughter,my mother was Lois Phoebe Broadway. I would love to see pictures and to learn more about the family. All I know is that Terah was a mason.
