Bio and Links
Bio Photo Due to many ongoing health reasons right now, I am not able to do any research and making corrections is very hard.

If you are related to any of the entries I have made and would like them transferred to you please ask.

Others will be transferred to a good friend of mine and she will be maintaining them.

If you have sent me an e-mail requesting changes, there will be many times I away from my computer now -- so it may be delayed. Please be patient with me.

You can contact me by e-mail too at rleegray@att.net

Martha Young 9055355
Hello!

I was reading your note about the grave stone of Martha Young, and you mentioned that there is a footstone marked JWY.

This is Jacob W. Young, the husband of Martha! He was a Revolutionary War Patriot ... served in the Continental Navy as a Privateer. He received a pension.

Your discovery opens up the possibility of getting his grave marked with a VA stone!

Were you able to save the footstone? Is it still on site?

There are 2 Johnson Chapel Cemeteries ; I am currently trying to remove the ones from the cemetery page with the incorrect map (currently 9 left) to the one with the correct location (currently with 248 entries). After that, I will ask the powers that be to remove the “bad” one.

This person is currently awaiting transfer. If you could select the “Burial” edit, you can transfer this to the other cemetery. I appreciate your time and consideration in this.

Johnson Chapel Cemetery
Because the original Johnson Chapel Cemetery in Maury County, (As of this writing with 15 interments) (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2145141), had an incorrect map location, I started another. Now I realize that I should not have done so.

Repeated requests to the higher-ups to combine the two cemeteries have resulted in no action.

So I am taking this recourse: I am asking that you transfer all of your memorial pages to the other, more correctly located Johnson Chapel Cemetery (currently with 249 interments) (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=14097).

Hopefully, after that, the incorrectly placed cemetery can be removed.

Johnson Chapel Cemetery
Because the original Johnson Chapel Cemetery in Maury County, with 177 interments (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2145141), had an incorrect map location, I started another. Now I realize that I should not have done so.

Repeated requests to combine the two cemeteries have resulted in no action.

So I am taking this recourse: I am asking that you transfer all of your memorial pages to the other, more correctly located Johnson Chapel Cemetery with 150 interments (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=14097).

Hopefully, after that, the incorrectly placed cemetery can be removed.

Hi Rick, I posted those memorials for my friend, Ann Regen Myhre, and have forwarded your note to her. Am hoping she'll get back to you soon because it sounds like you share a common bond or two or three. Take good care, Mary Ann

Thanks for the obituary on Mr Workman. I am curious, though, how were you able to get an obit from that long ago? Usually, I can't get tham on-line after a few years old.
