My wife died June 16, 2001. I miss her, but as much as I would wish, I don't think she is coming back. I will meet her again someday and we will take up where we left off. She is in Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, CA. In the meantime, I met a very nice lady who is in a similar circumstance. We were married in Oct. 2004 in Las Vegas with all our children, grandchildren and one great grandchild celebrating with us. Both families wished the best for us. We are very compatible and are having a good time with each other. We are moving to Kingman, AZ "into the sunset of our life". (as Pres. Reagan recited). We're not giving up yet, but facing reality. 2007.....We are enjoying our life in Arizona and thank all who have visited our family members who have gone before us. Here it is the 4th of July, 2013. My 3 daughters recently gave me a "big 90" birthday party here in Kingman with 75 attending. Got 91 cards and many friends and almost ALL my family with all the grandchildren and great grandchildren were here. I still repair furniture for nothing for anyone in this community in which we live. We are blest and I feel I have to pay it forward. Til next time. |
November 2015. Still in good health, all family in good health, still repairing furniture. Still think of those we miss.

Hello, I'm a find a grave photo volunteer who lives near the Memorial Park Cemetery.in Skokie, IL. There is some confusion about photos at this cemetery, but when I contacted the cemetery, they said photos are allowed. However they will charge me $10 for more than one lookup. You can call the office and request one lookup. If you can post the location in the photo request I will attempt to get the photo for you. The number is 847-864-5061. Please don't email me with the location, because there are 180 open requests. Susanne D.

Hi Frank, thanks for the speedy reply and I'm glad you got the obit. I hope you get things set to rights soon with your sister's affairs so you can enjoy your desert living - I imagine the weather is definitely more enjoyable this time of year than in Illinois!! If I find any more interesting newspaper tidbits I will be sure to send them to you.
