That is very strange, indeed. It doesn't look like the type of stone that normally is engraved on two sides, but it could be that the back was engraved and I missed it, or perhaps Amelia had a stone that was damaged and illegible. It also seems odd that the article about the son didn't mention that the family had lost 2 children so close together, although it was an article about school, and since she was the youngest daughter, and may not have been in school yet. It could also be that the editor had the wrong parents for Amelia. Hard to say. You might do a photo request, asking to check nearby stones and the back of Fred's.

Those epidemics were certainly tragic for a lot of families! By the way, if these are your relatives, I'm happy to transfer.

You are very welcome. I'm sorry that there was no head stone there. Kay

Photo request
I assume you mean photos of tombstones and not family photos? If so, that is fine.

RE: Thomas Family
You are welcome to use the copies of the photos in your geneology. I will be happy to make the additions to memorials as this gives me something to do as I am retired.

Hello,
The listed date of death (1902) is different from what I see on the headstone (1945)...

Just FYI.. I'll assume the headstone is correct unless you let me know otherwise.

Thank you.

Jennifer

RE: Eivins
Hi Dona,

I hope to get back there again for a better photo. My mother-in-law lives in Mullen, so I should be going back again sometime. It's about a ten hour drive from where I live.

I saw your posting /picture of Elsie & Johann Stammerjohn and wondered if you are related to this family? If so, do you have any information about their son, Walter?

Northcutt Family
Hi - Thanks for filling my photo requests for the Northcutt family. They are a distant connection and I wanted to include their grave photos on their memorials. Thanks for doing it and for adding the portraits.
