Hello Bonnie, can you review the edit I sent you on April 2? If you need help knowing how and where you can review edits that are sent to you, I can help. Thank you, Deb
|Dave & Lois Ashworth||RE: John & Nettie Pool|
You are very welcome.
|Cathy DeWalt||Ana Van Dusen|
Hi Bonnie, We are distant cousins through Ana DeWalt Van Dusen.
I'm a descendent of her brother James DeWalt, my great grandfather.
Ana was the daughter of Anthony DeWalt (married 11/5/1861) and Henrietta Shallcross DeWalt Gunther. Henrietta was born 11/3/1843 in Drogheda, Ireland and died 3/15/1908 of dropsy (edema) in Whitefield Township, IL.
She had several siblings:
James DeWalt (B) 12/2/1861 - (D) 12/13/1945
Clara Emily DeWalt (B) 12/11/1864 - (D) 7/12/1953
Mary E. DeWalt (B) 8/5/1866
Margaret DeWalt "Mag" (B) 11/14/1869 - (D) 1/16/1964
Henrietta DeWalt (B) 12/24/1870 - (D) 3/2/1923
John J. DeWalt (B) 11/6/1871 - (D) 6/1/1956
Katie DeWalt (B) 1/31/1873 (D) in infancy
Ana (B) 5/31/1874 - (D) 2/10/1961
Sarah Ellen DeWalt (B) 8/31/1876 - (D) 12/10/1973

|Tom Davis, Henry, IL||RE: A Vandusen|
Abraham Vandusen is likely not related to me. I was reading his obituary while I was researching my great-great grandfather, Nehemiah Vandusen. The numbers in the written obituary did not match. I am a numbers person and thought I would pass on the discovery.
|Tom Davis, Henry, IL||A Vandusen|
I was researching Vandusen and came to Abraham or Abram and discovered that both the year of his birth and the DAY of his death are incorrect. The posted obituary lists his death as May 30, at the age of 88. that means he was born in 1831, not 1881. His wife would have been 43 years old in 1881, his listed year of birth.

I read that you put a comment on Nettie's Find A Grave you had created for her. Her brother Finnis or John Finnis Flood is my great father and I was wondering if you had any more pictures of her and possible ones of her parents or siblings or both youd make me hard copies of and send them to me via snail mail. My grandmother never seen the pictures of her grandparents john and mollie and didnt have any pictures of the family. She passed in 2009. You may of known her but idk, her name was Edra. she had 2 older siblings Durward that went mia in ww2 in 1944 i think, and Juanita that died at early age in 1950 due to her husband at the time trying to beat a train. She also has one brother living Danny and was an oops child he was born 1947 my grandmother was born in 1932...well must go..if you have the pictures please email me directly at email@example.com and put Nettie Gibson Pool in the subject so i wont delete it thanks.
|M Dickhoff||RE: Frank Martin Messerschmidt.|
I received a Find A Grave message from you but the only thing that came through was "Frank Martin Messerschmidt". There was no other information following. Please try again.
|Dianna Steinbach||William Messerschmidt|
I made the changes that you suggested to this memorial. Thanks for the information. Dianna
