Hey. I live in Ardmore, TN (a two-state city on the Alabama-Tennessee state line). I am fascinated with cemeteries and especially enjoy finding and photographing the graves of friends/loved ones who have passed on. I work in Huntsville, Alabama. Willing to go to local cemeteries and take photos, etc. at no cost for those who live too far away; just let me know. Hope to hear from some of you folks. Find-A-Grave is excellent! | |

 | Mark Lewis Parrish Yancey: Unable to locate Mr. Parrish gravesite. He is not interned near his family and I have searched extensively. St. John's is a very large cemetery with thousands of graves. I'll keep trying my sources. Gary | | | Jack Eslick
 | RE: Memorials Thank you very much! Your memorials look very nice as well. I need to do more work on my memorials but it seems like I always run out of time. Jack Eslick | | | Kyle Smith

 | RE: Bobbie Larraine Mazingo Mitchell You know - - that is a hard one to photograph because it faces East and is so high you can't get a shot without also getting an angle of close reflection - which, from the bright stone background, blots out the image of the marker. I've been there in the morning and the afternoon (which has a shadow to dim everything) and am not satisfied with the results. I'm going back. I have a complicated camera that can get a decent picture and I'll just do it until I'm happy. I hit that place again tomorrow and we'll see what comes out. Best - - cbAdded by C. | RE: Rhoda White - Austin-Harlow Cemetery Yancy,
Thanks for the try, I know that alot of the older cemeteries are in a bad state. Very sad indeed. So much info to gather from them.
Thanks again.

 | Pitt Family Well, I have kept your email all this time with the intent on taking the pictures of the PittFamily at Elmwood Cemetery, but unfortunately your email didn't say which state it was in, I assumed it was Springfield, Missouri so that is where I went, LOL, the lady at the cemetery, helped me find out that it is Springfield, Tennessee, LOL and I was just there in May! lol WILL TRY AGAIN LATER.
