Thanks so very much! What would we do without wonderful volunteers like yourself. I grew up on LI, but wan't bitten by the family history bug until after I settled on the west coast. Not at all likely that I'll be back to LI in the near future. Thanks.

Woodland Cemetery, Bellport
Hello Elysia,

I am writing to you from central CT with a request for photos from Woodland Cemetery in Bellport. The graves I am looking for are for Salem Corwin (1807-1884), his son Henry Edward Corwin (1855-1930), and his son George Edward Corwin (1879-1955) as well as their wives and any other Corwin or family member graves in the area. I know they are all located in the same area because I visited in 2002, but failed to take notes or pictures! I also read that the curator for this cemetery is Quentin Reynolds, phone number (631) 286-0213. Thank you very much!

RE: Myra Albin
Thank you for allowing me to take the photo, so I may create a memorial to her. Poor Myra - my grandmother was born to Phoebe in 1906 listing Fred Albin as her father on the birth certificate. On the 1910 census Fred and Myra were still together, and she passed just a year later. I can never guess someone's story, but those dates suggest some marital disharmony.

RE: Myra Albin
I love a treasure hunt as well. It's much more exciting than just being handed the treat!
