|THE URGENCY: Acid rain and mold are devastating inscriptions on cemetery memorials! If we don't photographically record memorials before they become illegible, the final resting places of these loved ones will be lost forever!|
I believe that after a few generations, everyone is basically forgotten. Our graves sit there deteriorating without a care. I especially feel for childless couples or infants and children, they are forgotten sooner. I like this website, because generation after generation, our family will be able to come here, and see our graves, and with a little love and care can see our faces also.
Tracing our family lineage becomes so much easier for future generations. This site is an excellent resource for genealogist!
Please take up-close, careful shots of photos on graves! Many may never be seen again, after you leave, as they are quickly disappearing. A family may have no other photo, and may not even know that one existed, if you pass it by.
I'm ready and willing to edit or cancel my entries so don't hesitate to send me your corrections or requests.

|Suzanne Andrews||RE: Catherine & Ollie Clark|
Do you also want the Memorial for Con Sullivan who is buried in the Shea/Clark plot? I don't know if he is part of the family or if they might have sold that particular gravesite as I've seen indicated in some cases.
|Suzanne Andrews||Catherine & Ollie Clark|
I have added the headstone pictures for Catherine & Ollie Clark. Helen Loraine Clark is buried with Ollie. She was one year old when she died. I created a memorial for her. Am I correct to assume she was the daughter of Catherine & Ollie? I have indicated that they were her parents. Please let me know if that is incorrect.
Also buried in the same plot (I have added a picture of the plot to the memorials for you to see) are Jeremiah Shea, Ellen Shea, and Con Sullivan. I have created memorials for them as well and added information I found. I will be happy to transfer these memorials to you if you want them. Just let me know.

MT OLIVET CEMETERY ST JOSEPH MISSOURI
I searched for your loved ones yesterday. This cemetery is enormous. There are about 21,000 burials here. If you look at the photos for this cemetery, there is a map and you will see names of different sections. Each section has upward of 400 plots in it. If you could get the name of the section it would help. I don't have a map of plots and when I go there the office is hardly ever open so I can't access the map inside the office. I will be going back now and then and if you call the office at 816-279-5005 and get a section name and post it on the memorial page, someone should have a better chance of finding the marker. Directions or a location within the section could help as well. The office personnel don't want a person like me asking for the locations of a whole bunch of people....they just don't have time for it all at once.
I hope this will help you find your loved ones.

My husband's uncle is buried there as well, so it is our honor and pleasure to help families get these photos. We have a friend that is occasionally in Manila and she was kind enough to do this for us.
|P. Eadie||Lloyd gravestone photos|
We just returned from Harleigh Cemetery in Cherry Hill, Nj where we successfully located Horatio and Caroline Lloyd. I have uploaded these photos to their Find A Grave sites. I also found Mary P (1862-1947) and Frank T. Senior (1859- 1951) and have uploaded their photos to Find A Grave sites. I also found Frank T Lloyd Jr ( 1892- 1893) and Frank T Lloyd( 1895 - 1962), who do not have Find A Grave memorial sites. If you make memorials for them, I will happily upload these photos to their sites or I will email them to you. Please advise.

|Anonymous||RE: John Bushong Hess|
Hi, It's been quite awhile but I recall finding evidence of a John Hess being buried in Rockingham County while a John Bushong Hess was buried in Shenandoah. I was just pointing out that there are 2 Johns was similar birthdays but one should put in a tree what's right for them but maybe I'm wrong and shouldn't voice my opinion on John B. Hess' memorial I'm not working on my Hess tree anymore. I can remove my message from that memorial as I find a number of errors on findagrave as well as all the other family research type websites.I'm related to the Hess' in Fulk's Run but some of the previous generation were born and died in Shenandoah so it's all been confusing and difficult to come up with the right stuff. I'll be off the internet for good by Friday as I have no interest nor $ for it anymore..........another Hess

If you still need this picture I am going to the Philippines in September so I can get this for you.
Joshua Runyon is my son. Can you please tell me how you got his information? I am not going to ask you to remove the post just want to know how you got the unpublished picture.
I have a 6000+ ancestry.com family tree.
|Theron Rogers||Sara Nash Stone|
Most of the information I have shows 1806 as her birth date. I have a Stone Family Bible given to me by my G Grandmother Eva Hull Stone. It shows Sarah Nash Stone born Oct 2,1806.
The 1860 US census shows 1806
1870 US Census shows 1806
1880 US Census shows 1805
1855 NY Census shows 1807
1875 NY Census shows 1806
If you have other or better evidence, I would like to see it.
