Notice on John McElroy's stone that the death year is inscribed as 1944, yet the person listing his memorial used the date of 1945, as that is also what his veteran's burial card (which I also posted) gives as death year. | John McElroy photos
Although I dug the snow off of John's grave and took 2 photos for your request, I feel bad they are not clear due to the snow - as soon as there is a melting, I will re-take the photos and bring a flag for a pic with the flagholder. It has to get warmer one of these months! For now, hope these will do, but I promise I will re-take them in better conditions.
