I began working on the genealogy of my Templeton and Baker families in 1980. My dad was born in Silver Valley, Coleman County, Texas, where his parents, grandparents, and great grandmother lived for many years between 1873 until about 1939. I always loved to hear the stories Daddy and his mother and sisters told about living there in those times.|
A few years ago, the Mt. View Cemetery Association of Coleman County was formed and I have been president of that association since its inception. My first task was to use Ralph Terry's information to verify the marked (and some now-unmarked graves), then enter those on Find-a-Grave.

The above memorial #s in Mount View Cemetery are for my great grandmother's sister and bro-in-law, W. A. and Harriet Wray.
Would you consider transferring them to me, or at least to connect them to each other?

|Nona Forrest Worton||Hi|
Thanks for the Crockett headstone foto.
FAgravers like you make this site number 1.
Thank you again for your time and the heads up! I forgot that most small town cemeteries don't have an office to help out

Janis, I deeply appreciate you taking time away from your day to travel to Lakeview Cemetery, locate the markers, take the great photos and posting them.

I already knew he didn't have a marker, just wanted a photo of the area and I'd do the rest. He served in the Civil War and I wanted to get one of the military headstones added, but not sure about the logistics of it, since it's not a national cemetery. Thank you for your time, though?
Are all the other graves around where his is unmarked?
