I have been a member since 2001. Adding Memorials is a hobby. Walking through cemeteries is also a hobby; seeing old graves and any comments on headstones often times are very interesting.

I generally add, but not limited to, Memorials from Dallas, Henderson, Hunt, Kaufman and Van Zandt Counties, Texas, and Benton, Carroll, Henry, Madison and Stewart Counties, Tennessee.

Please do NOT copy my photos found on my Memorials and then post to your Memorials.

If I added your family member and you want Management, I will review and consider the transfer. Please do not ask if you are not directly related. Also, I previously had a similar message like the one below on my Profile and thought it was a good idea to bring it back:

While I very much enjoy adding Memorials, I am not running a race to become a "Top Contributor." If at some point I become a Top Contributor, great. But, it is not my goal in life. There are far more important things in life to be concerned about. Some of the messages I have read on other Contributor's Profiles were vicious and uncalled for. I am fortunate and have only received one or two spiteful messages to which I decided to ignore. Please know, before creating a record, I perform a thorough search as much as possible of the records to avoid duplicates. It is easy to overlook a record and create a duplicate from time to time. In the past, I have received several requests to delete my record because it was a duplicate of their record created before mine. I have learned this is not always the case.

I am a member of a small Church of Christ congregation in east Texas.

God bless.

RE: Desormeaux Memorial
I do not know how this was printed this way from the obit, but it is incorrect. Roger did die in Henry. But, Henry is a very small town in Louisiana. Roger was born here in louisiana, and lived in the town of henry just south of the town of Erath, la where he was at the David Funeral home in Erath, louisiana. In vermilion parish - not county. all of his family live in erath and henry.
It should read
Died:
Henry
Vermilion Parish
Louisiana

RE: Noah Chamberlin Duplicate
Janice,
what you said is the truth, whomever makes the memorial first, keeps it. That is proven through the Find A Grave #. I just was wondering if Noah is buried there, I was on a Jackson Forum and a supposed close member of the family said Noah was buried on his grandparents land. But even with that, I find it hard to believe he is buried on their land (without cemetery). Is Hollywood Cemetery on this land? Did you get where Noah was buried through a newspaper? Just asking TY

Noah Chamberlin Duplicate
from experience I know that if one of you two that has his memorial are a relative, then the memorial will go to that person. If both of you are, then it goes to the closest relative, but I was informed that Noah was buried on his grandparents property. So is this proven he is buried in Hollywood Cemetery?

RE: Archie Myers
When I first saw the notice of Archie passing, I queried to find that 155984810 was the only memorial at that time. Archie is a cousin so I had sent JSpencer the edits then for links & DOB which at that time DOB was not listed on Ridgeway's site.
It happens, and is easy to miss. As long as we all are most diligent and help each other, All is good. We do the best we can.
