I have been a member since 2001. Adding Memorials is a hobby. Walking through cemeteries is also a hobby; seeing old graves and any comments on headstones often times are very interesting.

I generally add, but not limited to, Memorials from Dallas, Henderson, Hunt, Kaufman and Van Zandt Counties, Texas, and Benton, Carroll, Henry, Madison and Stewart Counties, Tennessee.

Please do NOT copy my photos found on my Memorials and then post to your Memorials.

No one is more qualified to Manage a Memorial than a family member. If I added your family member and you want Management I am more than happy to transfer. Please do not ask if you are not directly related. Also, I previously had a similar message like the one below on my Profile and thought it was a good idea to bring it back:

While I very much enjoy adding Memorials, I am not running a race to become a "Top Contributor." If at some point I become a Top Contributor, great. But, it is not my goal in life. There are far more important things in life to be concerned about. Some of the messages I have read on other Contributor's Profiles were vicious and uncalled for. I am fortunate and have only received one or two spiteful messages to which I decided to ignore. Please know, before creating a record, I perform a thorough search as much as possible of the records to avoid duplicates. It is easy to overlook a record and create a duplicate from time to time. In the past, I have received several requests to delete my record because it was a duplicate of their record created before mine. I have learned this is not always the case.

I am a member of a small Church of Christ congregation in east Texas.

God bless.

RE: Potters
Just saw the website. There are 43 I have listed in that cemetery. Thank you for the additional information. If nobody claims them soon, I will transfer them to you unless you know someone that is following them.

I have completed the edits. I have no relations to the Potters. If you would like me to transfer them to you, please let me know.

Thank you for the heads-up that my 84534124 entry is a duplicate of an earlier entry. Clyde was my 1st cousin and since I'm the self-appointed :-) family historian, never thought someone else might have posted. Don't know how to fix it. Again, thanks.

RE: Webb memorial
All of the survivors names have been removed from Herman Clay Webb's memorial. As it should be. Thank you!

Thanks Janice. Since she was my Aunt I knew her full name. No confusion and no harm.
Have a good day.

Find A Grave does not discourage the legitimate indexing of the deceased through obituaries or other 3rd party accounts. Newspapers represent a very good source of information as a public record. What we ask is that those who index and memorialize the deceased from newspapers and other 3rd party accounts do so with full respect of copyright, Find A Grave does not discourage the legitimate indexing of the deceased through obituaries or other 3rd party accounts. "Refrain from adding information about living people, and respond generously to the family of the deceased" You have added the names of my niece and nephew, that is the reason for my request that you remove the names.

RE: Kate Rainey 116560539
I am like you trying to do my best not to make duplicates. I do not wish to create any duplicates. I search by last name only and DOD year. Sometimes I have lots to look at. But still I can get it wrong when a person has remarried and last name of stone is a previous marriage. But easy to fix. Some people get so upset over it, but I don't.
My Aunt Kate's first name is Nancy (102551751)that may be why you did not find it. This is my grandmother's sister and I had added her as her full name.
Aunt Kate is buried at Walker Cem with her husband John Turner Jr and my cousin Camille not in the Cottage Grove cemetery.
Hope you had a good Saturday. Got a bit of photographing done but the sun was not cooperating too well. Had to stand there a few minutes for the clouds to move.
Thanks for your time,
Susan Stewart

Janice,
Hi. I see you added a memorial at Cottage Grove Cemetery for my Aunt Kate.
She was buried at Walker Cemetery and there is already a memorial for her there.
See 102551751 at Walker.
Would you remove your memorial 116560539?

Thanks,
Susan
