Suppose I first became interested in the family history when I had to make a family tree in 6th grade. I guess I took a hankering to cemeteries as a kid, imaging the ghost of old Giles Corey who was pressed to death in the witch trials haunting the cemetery down the street we would play in. Now my wife kids me, saying it isn't a vacation unless we visit at least one cemetery, sometimes telling friends "This was a four-cemetery vacation!"

Kane Cemetery
Gregg,

Thank you so much for the headstone photo you took at Kane Cemetery of my relatives - Allan Bernard CALLAHAM and Ethel ERICKSEN. I truly appreciate the time you took to clean it off so it was more legible also. Thank you so much for your willingness to help others :o)

Thanks again!

Gregg I saw your post on trying to find William's grave. Do you know if this cemetery is maintained any any local group/organization ?? If you don't one way to find out is by calling local mortuaries. They are a big help in getting you connected with someone who might have info - lots of groups have documented graves in cemeteries by churches, etc. even if there are not headstones.

RE: Noble
I think Dorothy's maiden name was Morrison but I am not 100% sure if it is the right Dorothy or not. Thanks for all your help.

A lot of information regarding Alice was sent to me by Deidre Badker. If you use Ancestry.com look at the message/comments: John & Marie's daugther - Alice Gunderson.
