|Bekah Mellinger||Thomas Grove - Guinston|
I attend Guinston, and will be happy to look for Thomas' grave. However, I do not believe he is buried here - unless you can tell me otherwise.
According to the cemetery records, there is no Thomas Grove buried in the time frame your Thomas Grove lived. There are 4 tombstones for Grove - Sarah, Phoebe and Thomas Adam (died age 5). The 4th only states the last name - Grove. If these other people are Thomas' wife and children, I will take a photo of the stone for the 4th Grove.
There is a newer cemetery; it began 1868, well after your Thomas Grove died.
Any suggestions you may have to help me, I'd appreciate.

Caroll, thanks so much for filling my photo requests for Chester Banks and Adam Karns, they are both in my family tree.

Hi Carroll, Thank you for giving of your time and talent in fulfilling my request for a photo of Sophia Ritchey's headstone. I am so glad that there are so many people willing to help those of us that do not live in the same area as our ancestors did so that we can do our genealogy. May I have your permission to use the photo in my genealogy, giving you credit for taking the photo? God bless you and your family, Margaret

Beautiful photo! Thank you!
|Joe Nihen||Abram Stuckey|
That was quick! I've been going through the roster of the 208th in search of more information, and I found that I "forgot" to request a photo of Abram's grave when I created his memorial.
As always, thank you for helping preserve the memory of the 208th Pennsylvania.
