|*****My beloved husband Manuel left to go to Heaven early this morning (June 02, 2015). I was with him in Hospice when he peacefully left. He is one of my 'sponsored' loved ones. Manuel believed in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. "Rest in Peace, my beloved Manuel. I'll be with you for eternity in Heaven one beautiful day"|
I am a Christian woman and I know I will see you one day in Heaven.
I cherish the United States and our beloved soldiers who keep us safe. I cherish our Freedoms and our Democratic Government.
I truly believe there is a Rainbow Bridge in Heaven, where we will meet and be with our beloved animal companions. I plan on greeting every single animal, big and small, who is there, because I love all animals...The first one I will greet will be my beloved cat Mr. King Akhenaten "Akhee" Swirls, because I did not have the chance to say Goodbye to him on earth...
*April 12, 2010* I am sponsoring a beautiful cat named Cleocatra Sharpless. I came across her gravesite a few years ago and I found it again a few days ago, and I was the only person to leave her any tributes in all that time. She lived on earth more than 25 years, which is such a remarkable testament to her being loved and cared for while she was here! I wanted to let others know about this sweet fur angel***

|Jim Garrett||Evaline Rials Garrett|
Good afternoon Miss Mary,
I am Jim Garrett, great-great-grandson of James C. & Evaline Rials Garrett. I am the one who found their graves in the Battle Branch Cemetery in Conecuh County, Alabama. I saw your note to Evaline and I am curious if you were acquainted or know any facts about this family. I have attempted for years to discover the middle name for James C. Garrett but have never been able to find it. If you can assist me I would be eternally grateful. If you cannot I understand and I wish you the best on your journey to Heaven where will all be peaceful, comfortable and happy forever.
Hope all is well with you.
You are welcome for the photos. That is not a smudge on the marker it is in the stone. The niches are very difficult to photograph and I often have to darken the photo in order to read the inscription which made the darker area more visible on the photo.

I wanted to ask you and forgot, caught up in the emotion of losing our husbands, where do you go to leave a memorial for your animals? And can I leave one for my Chatouli?
Bless you, Fran

|Fran||RE: Hi, Fran,|
Thanks for such a sweet note. I am so very sorry about your husband, it will be 8 years since my husband died on August 10, and I still miss him and his laughing, the way he would sit with me during bad weather until the all clear was given (he would keep the tv on the weather channel or the local weather channel until then. In fact, I have been depressed lately because my kids live out of state and I haven't seen them or my grandchildren in years. I'm a grandmother without any grandchildren around to hold and love and spoil. I did get to see my daughter last year and spent a month with her and her husband, my granddaughter, and my great-grandson, boy is he a humdinger, all boy, he is.BTW this granddaughter is his aunt, his mother is away and will be back sometime this year.
Take care if yourself, and try to remember the good times.
God bless you, Fran

|Jon Dickinson||a memorial you left|
For Rufus B. Dickenson, civil war veteran, in 2010. May I ask what prompted you to leave an online memorial to him?
Hi Mary, hope you are doing well. Very inspiring service at the cemetery yesterday, did you attend?
I added photos to his memorial page, if you want to add your own photos I certainly understand and I will delete the ones I added. You may have to enlarge them to read them clearly as they are difficult to photograph. As you can see by the photo many flowers and tributes have been left at the niches. Very pretty, very touching.

How do you know my dad?
I too was married fresh out of high school & he joined the Air Force in "85" & we was married until "98".I've got a memorial for him on the site as well.We ended up being friends again about 5 years prior to his death in "2013".We'd all get together for the holidays either here or @ his place & believe it or not....we all got along.I guess I "thought" I knew what love was all about but I was wrong as when Don & I got married in "99" I found out what it was all about.Don't know about you but there will never be another for me as when I lost Don,he took my heart w/him....
As the old saying goes "When life gives you lemons,make lemonade" ...to bad I can't stomach the stuff , eh ?
Have a great day,
~ Beth ~
|Donna B.||RE: Hi, Donna,|
Mary, after everyone leaves and you are alone with your memories is one of the worse times. Hold on to thoughts of the good times. The pain will ease eventually. I wish I had words to offer more in the way of comfort but know that I will continue to keep you in my thoughts.
