Researching my family history is one of the most important goals in my life. I feel we should all know as much about our ancestors as possible. Through my research I have been able to spend quality time with my sister, Sandra Bertram MEIER. Researching has brought lots of people into my life I would never have met otherwise. Let's all keep up the good work.|
I have just come across my pictures on Ancestry.com that someone has used as their own. There is no mention of where the picture came from. This is ashame. For all of you that tramp through knee high grass, work in the hot Texas sun, and in the cold north wind, use your own gas and then try to find a tree big enough when nature calls, you know what I am talking about. Please if you want to use my pictures or anyone elses please have the decency to ask before posting and give credit where credit is due.
PLEASE NOTE - VERY IMPORTANT:
"...The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is permitted without the prior consent of the original submitter."
Since I am getting so many requests for transfers I have started using the findagrave guidelines for transfer. You do not need to own an ancestors memorial page to have a great memorial. I update them each day and will add to a memorial. Just use the edit button on the top right hand of the memorial to be edited.

I live in WA state and I wanted to send a big thank you for posting a photo of my grandfather's grave on this site. I have been down to the area to take pictures of his information there at the Oakland cemetery as well as other genealogy information. Seeing the photo brought a smile to my face, I actually didn't expect to find it posted on this site. Thank you.

I really appreciate the almost immediate response to my request for links to William Robert Parker.
I greatly appreciate your assistance!
Thanks so much

|Mary Foster||Robert Neal Clark Jr.|
His nickname was Donnie not Ronnie.
|luzon||JW (James Washington) Nash|
If you are still updating records for Restlawn Memorial of Vidor, Texas and happen to take an image of James Washington Nash's gravesite (his wife is Margaret E. Nash -- I believe they are buried across the road from one another) and their daughter, Jamie Sue NASH Davis (died: January 24, 2013), I would appreciate it if you could send me an image of my Uncle J.W.'s grave -- I was looking earlier today at my Aunt Margaret's memorial when I discovered that her daughter (my cousin, Jamie Sue) had passed January 24, 2013 and no one in the family here in Louisiana was aware that she had passed. Thanks in advance.

|Billy Mitchell||RE: Harley Hackett|
As far as I know I am not related to that Mitchell.
I still have a bracelet for Major Robert Pietsch who went missing on May 1, 1968. He was USAF. They finally found his remains and he was buried in Arlington last month.
I knew Harley Hackett. He was a year ahead of me in HS and best friends with my next door neighbor. They both played on the football team together. He had a brother named Stanley. I think he still lives here.
I used to see his mother at the Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies at the Florence National Cemetery. She was the head of the Gold Star Mothers here. She died a couple of years ago.
Harley's plane was hit and last seen going out to sea. He was never heard from again and declared MIA.

Just got your photo request fro findagrave.com for a photo of Harley Hackett's marker. The3re is already one on his memorial page. Under the three photos of him click "one photo not showing".

Thanks, Janet. I'm sure I will run across some more. Still digging. :)

Sorry. It is 50530460.
I sent another edit after I realized I forgot to send it. His name is different than Coy on the other memorial.

Could you add the photo to Adalbert George Bochnia # 63948840 (same one that is on Veronica Hyman Bochnia # 61246865)?
It may take a while to get all of them transferred, so I will let you know as I see any more duplicates. I really appreciate you understanding the situation.
Keep up all your great work!!
