I read about this site on a genealogy website and find it fascinating. In my recent travels for my ancestor searches I started taking photos of family graves and a few interesting ones. I hope to find the time to document more graves because it's a great service. I've found so much information about my ancestors I'd like to 'give back" and contribute to others' searches.

RE: Re: memorial #35620140
Patty,
William Love is my 5th Great Grandfather. Unfortunately I do not have much information since there isn't much about him. I knew he was in the Rev War. When I found out - my mother and I made it our mission to have him added as a Patriot to our local DAR chapter. We were successful and he is now a proven patriot with the DAR. In the research, we found correspondence from his children to the asylum. In the letters it stated "Mr. Love" had been buried in the hospital cemetery. Also in the research I found a monument with the burial names had been erected with all the hospital burials they had and William Love was not included on the list. I contacted the organization who was responsible for the memorial and asked why he was not added and sent the info I had. I was told they did not include him because a first name was not given for him. He was referred to as "Mr. Love" in the documents they had. I sent them the copies of the letters, etc I had - they let me know they are researching more possible people buried there and William Love will be included in the next Memorial as well as it being noted he was a Private and fought in the Rev. War.

RE: Guy Doty
A transfer is not necessary. I had found a photo of Guy's Mother and added it, so that is why I was sending you the edit (via your edits tab), so that Guy would be linked to his Mom and Dad. I don't have any Doty Family information...

Guy Doty
Hello!
I added a photo to Guy Doty's mother's Memorial (Margery Kepner Doty). She is a relation of mine. Also sent you an edit (on your 'edits tab') to link Guy to his parents. Thanks!

Hi,

I was wondering if you would transfer Arthur Hughes's memorial to me. Arthur was a brother of an uncle of mine and I have been tracking and linking his family together. My member number is 47013277.
Thank you. Mike D

The gravestone picture you have on his memorial is the wrong one. The death date is wrong for him. He was my grandmother's brother. Thanks for the effort though.

RE: Charles Carlson
Forest Home Cemetery resulted from the union of two cemeteries: Forest Home and German Waldheim. You have your memorial attached to the proper cemetery.

Take Care, Brandi
