|Pianogal5004||Gormer Cemetery-Middle Branch|
The Gormer school was (still is there) on the corner and there is no cemetery there. The cemetery is west of the school across from my greatgrandfather's farm. Mother knows much about this as she went there for family reunions as a girl. My greatgrandmother taught school there. Probably some people called it the Gormer cemetery...
|TheBlueJar||well hello there.|
How are you doing?
Hope you and yours are well.
I have a quandary for you.
I am working on mapping all the unmapped cemeteries in Michigan, the state I live in.
I came across your memorial in Gormer Church Cemetery in Osceola Co. I can't find any reference to this cemetery on line. Nothing for Gormer Church either, just Gormer Post office and school.
I think maybe the Reverend might belong in Middle Branch Cemetery but I'd like to try to find out for sure. His death certificate does say Middle Branch Cemetery, but there are two of those. #1 and #2. #2 is not made yet on Find A Grave. Not sure why.
Anyway I would like to hear your opinion on this concept.
