While doing some family research I found a death certificate for mary that lists her in this cem but your birthdate does not match I did not want to create a new memorial if this is the same person. Can you check the date on your records please. I posted the death certificate so you could compare.

Am curious why you have entered 4 Vandervoorts in this cem. One is (Mother) Vandervoort and none have any info on them or headstone pics. Just a name no dates or anything. I have a Herman Vandervoort in my family however he died in Florida, plus I know his parents and siblings....and the other couple of names do not match.

Attended the Smith School in Dayton Township
Caro – Coroner Lee Huston, of Tuscola County, was called to the right-of-way of Detroit, Caro and Sandusky railroad at 8 am Sunday when the body of Basil Smith, 24 of Caro, was found in a sitting position on the railroad embankment. A bullet hole was found just below the right temple, and the 22-calibre rifle lay beside the body. A verdict of suicide was retuned by the coroner, who held no inquest. The youth had removed his right shoe and stocking and had evidently pulled the trigger with his great toe.
Young Smith was last seen at about 6 pm Saturday as he walked east out of the village passing a gas station. No reason for his action was learned by Sheriff George F. Jeffrey, who investigated. The body was found by Alfred Mardlin, who lives east of Caro, who followed the tracks into Caro Sunday morning.
Surviving the youth is his mother, Mrs. Samuel Fish, and several brothers and sisters. The body was removed to the Huston Morgue. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Agnes Ayres Hill Pomerville 108104122
Please dump this site. There is another one already hooked up to Peter Pomerville with their grave photo. She remarried a James W. Ayers and is listed on the grave with Ayers after her first name on the grave, but buried, with her first husband Peter Pomerville. Trying to detach the her from Peter. Thanks!
