Bio Photo IMPORTANT UPDATE - DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS,
I WILL NO LONGER DO GENEALOGY RESEARCH.
(FOR FAMILIES NOT NAMED IN MY FAMILY RESEARCH LIST {BELOW})

Greetings!
As a descendant of many of the memorials I have placed on Findagrave (FAGrv), I wish to foremost, honor their lives & memories by adding as much as I can to their pages.
As a dilettante genealogist I love to delve into family history.
My circle of family names include.
Hawkins
(All families living in New England
or with Northern US roots).
Parkinson, Allen, Batchelder, Bartlett
& Leroy (NY & New England)
Babcock, Clark, Tyrer, Knight,
Wilbur & Irish families (ditto)
Earl family of Western NY,PA & NJ
Waite & Buchanan
(Related to the Earl family)
Ahles, Warner & Reuter
(German immigrants to Western NY)

If you wish to add information or wish to have memorials transfered please use the
SUGGESTION LINK (SAC Suggest A Correction)

Findagrave has guidelines for transfers
(4 generations I think). I will gladly extend beyond the 4 Gen's if you are a serious researcher. Also I believe, that if you wish to honor a deceased distant relation (or a friend) than I will not stand in the way of your efforts.
Some people believe transfer requests should not be made for memorials of friends or for family surnames strictly for genealogical purposes. I don't buy this notion! I believe that genealogists help us as a connection between the living & the dead, distinguishing who we are & whence we came. So, if you are researching a family name & see that I have entered numerous surnames of interest, I would be happy to transfer the whole lot to you
(unless of course I am also researching the same name).
I would be be most grateful if other people would allow me the same courtesy. :^)

Please visit Don Gentner's compilation of German immigrants to Western New York from Baden Germany.
The Wiesental~Springville connection

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I am no longer able to do lookups & genealogical searches for other families research.
This also includes going to Libraries, Courthouses, & Cemeteries to search for records & tombstone information.

I will still make additions & corrections to FAGrv [only using the SAC's (Suggest A Correction) edit link]. When you SAC it is important to be signed on to Findagrave & if you are suggesting family links, please give the name of the person to be linked, their relationship & their memorial number (this makes the process so much easier :^). PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME DIRECTLY ASKING FOR FAGrv CORRECTIONS. Due to the large number of SAC's requests that I receive daily, It may take up to 30 days for memorials to be updated.
AGAIN, USE THE MEMORIAL EDIT/SUGGESTION OPTION for both updates requests and transfer requests. This provides me with both the memorial link and the link to your member number, and then I do not have to search for either item.
Requests left on my "leave a message" page will be at the bottom of my priority list. I am sorry for this inconvenience.

I will try to leave a message on the requesters FAGrv homepage when I have completed the task & I will also try to add data from SAC's to
Werelate.org.

Please check into this free website & consider sharing your memorial information with other researchers.

I do have quite a collection of cemetery records & photos of burials in Concord, Collins & parts of Sardinia/ Boston/ Colden (Erie Co., NY) cemeteries.
I'm slowly adding these records to FAGrv & WeRelate.org again as time permits.
My wife & I have submitted many of these records to the Town of Concord Genealogy Library aka

"The Lucy Bensley Genealogy Center"

RE: Hi Laurie!
Hi Tom & Jolene,

Coffee shop, sounds really good !!!
What is the address?
I am really busy for the next week, as our son Alex, is coming to town from California with his family Amelia & baby Ada. I am sooooo excited.

You remember Alex, he was in Cup Scout troop out of St Al's 549( i believe that is the number.

But after that Paul & I will try the coffee shop.

I will also seek out the local genealogical group, also, on Facebook & yes I am there also. Just have so much to do at this time of year, Major Trash Day is May 13th.

Are you interested in Jefferson Street gala on July 19-20? The cemetery celebration is July 20, I will let you know as the time comes closer.

Sincerely, Laurie Stewart Tokarsky # 47375347

Jefferson Street Cemetery
Hi Tom,
I want to tell you that the Jefferson Street Cemetery. Ellicottville is having some festivities on July 19-21, 2013. At the cemetery, Saturday July 20, 2013 they will have people ride up to the cemetery on a wagon. Then there will be people dressed in 1800's clothing to talk about the cemetery & people that are buried there.

More details will come.

Sincerely Your Friend, Laurie Stewart Tokarsky

Thank You
Dear Mr. Hawkins,

Thank you so much for your assistance with taking the pictures of Leon & Martha Pijanowski's tombstones; they are my husband's grandparents, and we have greatly wanted to see them, but could not travel at this time.

Sincerely,

Lisa Howes-Pijanowski
