|edmund raphael||Sir Charles Algernon Parsons - correction|
I publicly thank Mr. Paul Grant for appologising for the mistaken information (e-mail dated 09 November 20111). Mr. Grant was given misinformation from his relative(s) and asks for his article re. Sir Charles Parsons to be withdrawn.
I await Mr. Conway's willingness to withdraw his misleading information pertaining to Sir Charles Algernon Parsons,OM viz., that he did not die aboard "his yacht" but aboard the "Duchess of Richmond" and that he is NOT buried in St. John's, Cambridge but at Kirkwhelpington, in the north east of England.
|edmund raphael||Sir Charles Algernon Parsons|
Sir Charles Algernon Parsons, inventor of the modern steam turbine, is buried alongside his wife, Lady Katharine, in St. Bartholomew's Churchyard, Kirkwhelpington, Northumberland.
Both his son, Algernon and his daughter, Rachel Mary were unmarried, thus making Mr. Grant's relationship claim completely spurious, believe me.
