Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on my family tree since 1997. I love learning about my family and linking famlies units together.
I think Findagrave should change their policy about who maintains memorials. A lot of memorials are in the hands of those who are not related to that person. I think if you want to maintain any memorial in your family that is under the care of someone who is not related you should be allowed to maintain that memorial. You should also be able to take over a memorial from an inactive member. Just my two cents.

Researching - The areas of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Allen County, Indiana, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and North Carolina to name a few and the surnames Grabner, Pinder, Harris, Baldwin, Kerr, Taylor, Louden, Smith, Ladig, Falls, Dager, Barbee, Beavers, Strader, Remley, Sweeten, Coble, Glasgow, Garrett and many more.

RE: Whitright
So glad I could be of help, Paige. :) With family burials 500+ miles away, I completely understand.

Your photo request for Floyd E. Whitright has been filled. I've taken one for Nancy as well. Please be certain to click on each photo for additional notes.

You can just email the map when you get it and I will try to find their memorial. Did they say if they had a memorial or not? I was planning on going out there either tomorrow or Thursday for some searching. Barb

Greenlawn Memorial will not tell me where someone is buried. I have walked the entire cemetery several times and I have not found them. Could you call the cemetery and asked them where they are buried and I will get you a photo. Their number is 260-432-3914. Thank you. Barb

RE: Lydia Upson
You are welcome, it has been a learning curve LOL one I won't take on totally again for a while. But I feel awesome one in our area is utd. I only have to add the sexton records now, there are over 300 burials with no stones. Yikes!

RE: Louden/Falls
sorry! this gets confusing! Minnie falls presuhn was the younger sister of owen falls (i think that's the name you said that married Minnie Harris). so i have a photo of owens little sister. purely because she was close to etter may. o i can't wait to see pictures!

RE: Louden/Falls
o my goodness! he also had a younger sister named Minnie who married a presuhn (probably spelled wrong here). she is the one i have a pic of. i can't believe the two families are intertwined. we've never had anybody around who knew anything about her except she was close to etter may and Solomon. so i took matters into my own hand and after s few months finally found out who she was. i don't know if you have pics of Solomon, i just have a few starting from his early 20s

louden/falls
so many questions... but to keep it simple, im a descendant of etter may and Solomon louden. are you related? and how? also, i see you research falls. are you related to any? etter may was good friends with Minnie falls and i have a beautiful picture of her that i have adored through the years. I've learned a bit about her, but still wonder so much more!

RE: Thanks
Paige,
Thank you for your kind words. I truly appreciate them! I have been debating about doing some gravin' when spring rolls around. I have a friend and she went with me once finding requested headstones for Steve to post. And she has wanted to go with me for awhile now again. I will be much, much slower and won't be able to get near as many as Steve did. But I imagine any we could get are ones that may not have been done otherwise. I think I know my way around Find-A-Grave to be able to figure the site out. I just am not good with locations of the headstones. I still have all of Steve's maps. The only thing I have to wait for is some warmer weather and to get back to walking again. I broke my pelvis recently. But I think I will give it a whirl in a few months. In the meantime, I will look over all of Steve's Find-A-Grave info. ~Andrea
