Daniel Padrick or Rye Valley Oregon
Just a note to let you know that Shelbyville, Indiana Gen. Library sent pages from a family history that I think sufficiently links the two Daniels. Whiile it is not a birth record, one of my cousins (Doreen Rose) of Portland Oregon contributed to the book and I know she is a careful researcher. She would not have been writing to Padrick "cousins" in Shelbyville if she didn't have a very good basis for doing so. Best regards, Norm

Daniel Padrick 6246428
I am concerned about the link showing my great grandfather Daniel Padrick 84285294 of Rye Valley, Oregon as a son of the above Daniel Padrick of Shelby County, Indiana.
I lived near my grandmother and never heard her speak of Shelby County relatives. I have seen ancestry.com family trees linking these two Daniel's together, but no one has showed any documentation. Their entries appear to be based solely on the same name. None of the census records they show have the two men on one census. The trees pass this information from one to another and can really mess up a family history. I traveled to Currituck County and could not find one document that listed my great grandfather Daniel to any Padrick there.
The reason I joined find a grave was to correct so many errors being posted on my family lines. Do you know if anyone has presented a Deed, Will, obituary, or anything else that has the Shelby Daniel Padrick in the same article or document as my Oregon Daniel Padrick? Would appreciate any help I can get in either documenting this information or having it removed. Thanks

Regarding the memorial page that you created for Franklin Pierce HOFFERT, which is here
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=6246051

Would you please link Franklin to his wife, and also add some bio information about him. Thanks!

wife's number: 6246053

biological info:
Franklin was the son of Philemon HOFFERT (1829-1895) and Catharine SEITZ (1830-1899).

Franklin was the author of the 1909 HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY, the genealogical history of the descendants of Christian HOFFARTH (b. 1716).

Thank you!

I just added two photos for him -- one of him alone, and one of him with his family. And I've put in a request for a photo of his grave stone.
