Genealogy is a passion of mine. I've been at it for over 20 years. I thoroughly enjoy the investigative hours of pleasure that it brings. I am the "Family Historian" for my own family and have over 20 binders of family information and filing cabinets and boxes of research papers. I also a member of the Benton County Cemetery Preservation Group, Inc. of Benton County, Arkansas and the newly formed Washington County (Arkansas)Cemetery Preservation Group. Finding burial places poses a problem for researchers if their ancestors did not have a stone. That's why Findagrave is so wonderful. You can post where a loved one is buried and help the next researcher out in finding them. A great way to help out your fellow researchers. I also photograph tombstones in my area and am a volunteer for the Arkansas Gravestone Organization, Oklahoma Gravestones Organization, Missouri Gravestone Organization, Kansas Gravestone Organization, Tennessee Gravestone Organization and can photograph stones for Washington, Benton, and Madison counties in Arkansas, Adair, Cherokee, and Delaware counties in Oklahoma and McDonald Co., Missouri. Please send me your requests. I may already have your photos in my extensive collection. If I don't, I will go out and try to fulfill your request. Thanks!|

Sounds like a plan, Mike! There are several in Adair I still haven't found yet. Have a great Thanksgiving and best wishes.

The old driveway intersects Pleasure Heights Road. It is overgrown with brush. No one lives in the old farm house, so I simply walked through the back yard and over to the left to find the cemetery lane.

Please post all that you are able to memorials, if you feel confident in posting them. Please consider using a chalk to help read writing on old stones, chalking in letters to help. No need to send me copies. Thank you for your offer. Do, please just post whatever you are able to "deciper" in your reading of the old stones. Thanks for all of your efforts.

Thank you, Mike, for the previous photos you took and posted of Farrar fam. at the private Farrar Cemetery. I have requested further photos to be taken there. Can you please look at those requests and see if you previously took photos of those gravestones and would you be willing to accept the photo requests. a photographer accepted on request but did not know where cemetery is, etc. Can you please look for the currently unphotographed folks in that cemetery? Thanks for all of your efforts.
