St MArys
I did a little sample of three rows of Blossburg St Marys
and noticed many are NOT on FindAGrave.

So when I am done with St Josephs, I will go over and finish all the rows in St Marys
thus more of your relatives may appear...

Unless St Marys is the Irish Catholic Cemetery??? vs St Andrews the Polish Catholic Cemetery???
heck, I heard about some feud between the two Blossburg Cemeteries along ethnic lines, but which is which.. I have no idea.
Seems like Polish names abound in BOTH catholic cemeteries.

Sometime ago I finished Arnot Swedish Cemetery and Antrim Cemetery, both mining centric places.

Right now I am looking for William Bogaczyk who died in 1989 in Tioga County PA... grave? cremated?

Melaine was daughter of Charles Bogaczyk (1900 1968) and Genevieve Boinski (1904 1971).

It is possible Charles is brother of Stanley Henry Bogaczyk the husband of Mary Beaderman, but would have to check 1910 and 1920 census to validate that better.

At the moment do not know parents of either Charles or Stanley

Ah the Grandparents.
You figured they migrated here...
but so far, I do not know where.

But there are hundreds of unmarked graves
in the coal mining area of Antrim, Arnot, Blossburg, Morris Run, and historic Fall Brook and Landrus..Tioga County PA.
They could be in unmarked graves.
News reports are sparse on mentioning the unmarked graves as well.
Church records hard to find.
County records before 1905... forget it... very spotty.
If they came to America and settled where Andrew Jr. did... not sure at this moment.

And there is the dang NAMES!!!

The Polish settlers did all kinds of things with names. Like take a complex name and change it to Tom Smith... making record tracking difficult.

And as the mines gave out, they spread across the land to Elmira, Rochester, and westward.

RE: Weiderwax / Wetherwax, Albany Rural
Thank you so much for trying, and while I don't think I need to have pictures of the downed stone on the memorials, I'd appreciate it if you could email me a copy just for my own records. I will go with the Wetherwax for now to match the one upright stone. I do appreciate you taking the time to go and look!

Regards, Sidney

RE: Matthews, Albany Rural
Thanks for taking the Matthews family photos at Albany Rural Cemetery.

I still have the email about the Edwin Merrit bio. I really should follow up on that.

Thanks again.

Photo requests for St. Pats, Bay City
I was unable to fill these requests because the office lady is very unhelpful about locating graves. She hates a list so I have found it easiest for the individual who is requesting the photo to find out the location. I have an index of existing tombstones that some nice ladies did for the Bay County GENWEB but that's for the old St. Pats where most burials are from the early 1900s. Sorry!
A. McDonell doesn't appear on the tombstone index.

RE: Helen Marguerite Houser Hewitt
Hi Joe - yes, I would love it if you could transfer management of these graves to me, as they are all related to my spouse's side of our tree. Thanks - R

RE: Helen Marguerite Houser Hewitt
Sure ... if you can ... she is the granddaughter of my spouse's gr-gr-grandfather (Charles Abel).
I am not sure how to do this; if you could, I would appreciate it. Thanks R-

RE: Makowiec, Pennsylvania
Sorry it took me so long to respond. I do not actually know much about her or her husband, they have kind of been my roadblock. Her maiden name is either Nosal or Socha, which I have found different on her children's death certificates. I know she had 7 kids, and I believe 2 or 3 of them were with her 2nd husband, Michael Makowiec (148051301). I have tried to find everything I can on him also, but I'm still trying.

It was great hearing from you :) Amanda
