Please do not add bio. information in the comments of the flower section of the memorials, when you leave a flower on someones memorial it is to honor that person, not to give information to other viewers of the memorial. Out of respect for the families, please DO NOT post images of death certificates in the photo sections of the memorials that I manage. Those that are uploaded will be requested to be removed.|
If you have additional information or corrections for any of the memorials please use the SAC tab on their memorial.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING;
I do not contribute to FindaGrave to rack up my memorial numbers to the site. I am a genealogist and I use this for MY genealogical research. I will not post source information on this site. On the subject of transfers, the so many generation relation to the persons memorial is just a FAG "guideline", That means the creator of the memorial can transfer it outside of this "guideline" if he/she WISHES to.
I will not post obituries from suggest a corrections that appear to be copied from newspapers, funeral homes or that contain living persons.
Please read the FAQs under Actions : Help with Findagrave, about duplicates.
The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.
About memorial transfers for "maintenance";
If I should ask you for a memorial that you "Own" for maintenance, and you wish to keep the memorial yourself, simple, all you have to do is tell me to return the memorial to you after the edits, links, ect.(maintenance) is done with the memorial. I prefer to add the genelogical information about the person myself, I have had some bad information posted when I rely on others to do it correctly, just the way I am.
When posting to my profile page about any memorial, please add the number of the memorial you are refering to.
I try to remove messages from my member page after I've read them or resolved some issue.
I do refuse to correspond to rude and/or demanding contributors.

|Gaye Hill||RE: Arthur Orrill 124839317|
After I had emailed, I thought it only right that Arthur SHOULD be in the hands of a family member.
If you get a chance go to GenDisasters.com, Arthur's story is there also.
Best of all,
|Niteowl||Re: Fannie Jacobs Long family album|
I actually have 2 family albums. One is
marked 'Fannie Jacobs' with a handwritten
note from 'grandmother Fannie Long' giving
the album to Moina? Long. The other is
a family album marked 'Minnie A. Orrill'.
Both albums have about 50 CDV's and Cabinet
Cards, some with Civil War tax stamps. There
are about 5-6 duplicates between the 2 albums,
including the 1865-ish image of John and
Katharine Orrill. The Fannie Jacobs album
has an index. Some pictures seem to match
the index, but most do not. The Minnie Orrill
album has no index, but a few photos are
marked on the front/back/surround.
I added 2 photos to Minnie Orrill's Find A Grave page.
One is the cover of her album and the other is
a newspaper clipping at the back of the album
placed by 'Aunt Fannie and Lizzie'. Presumably
Fannie is Fannie Long, but I'm not sure about
Lizzie. Maybe Lizzie was Eliza Orrill Mills?
The Minnie Orrill album had one photo marked
on the back as Nelson T. Mills. I added
the front and back of this CDV to his Find A Grave page.

|Dennis Gore||RE: Lewis Atkins|
Hi. Thanks for your reply. I believe that my Lewis was the son of Morris Adkins. Lewis had a brother Richard, and a brother Stephen that was hanged. I believe that Lewis was also a brother to Elijah that was born circa 1765. I have lots of info on Atkins/Adkins that I am willing to share. Dennis
