I was appointed the Marshal of Dodge City, Kansas on February 21, 2000 in a regular meeting of the Dodge City Commissioners by the honorable Mayor Gerald H. Schmidt.
Find A Grave, I feel, is a wonderful and important part of the internet. It gives us a chance to vist and honor those dear ones, who, if not for Find-a-Grave, we may not otherwise get to ever visit their graves.
If you have the time, please visit my son Michael's memorial,my mother's grave, Alta Maxine Maphet-Herron, and stop by and say "howdy" to my best friend T.J. "Jeff" Hazelton, and my favorite all-time outdoor sportsmen Harold Ensley;"The Sportsman's Friend", and Fred Bear; "The Father Of Modern Archery." That's great. When you get some time I would appreciate you telling me a little about his mother.
Because of a nasty divorce between my parents I never got to know my Glaze Family until 1963. The Glaze boys, Leonard, Forrest, & Dallas used to be with Maurice. Do you happen to know any of them? Dallas was my father. I admired him very much.
