I am a future resident of The Great Mausoleum of Forest Lawn, in Glendale, California. My niche (20817) faces W.C. Fields in the Columbarium of Nativity. I leave flowers for my Mother and W.C. every other week. I enjoy the history and art of cemeteries, and photograhing them. This my first statue, "The Butterfly Baby", by Bruno Pattorino. It sits in the Columbarium of Security on Gardenia Terrace of the Great Mausoleum. [Click on this photo to enlarge]. I also have an original statue of "Cupid's Choice" by Donatello Gabbrielli in the Hall of Inspiration (Holly Terrace) that is adjacent to the Columbarium of Nativity where my Mom is inurned and where I will be with her one day. I also have a bronze statue of "The Rising Sun" by Adolph Weinman in the Columbarium of Sanctuaries next to The Last Supper stained glass window on Memorial Terrace, Court of Honor. I recently purchased by fourth statue (marble) of "Little Friends" by Pietro Bazanti, (on Holly Terrace), and dedicated it to my late neighbor and friend, LaVonne Rose Potter. It stands in the Sanctuary of Redemption atop the grand staircase leading from The Last Supper stained glass window up to my niche in the Columbarium of Nativity (Holly Terrace). |Eleanor Morrison Lawson||My extended family|
Thank you for working with Find A Grave, making it possible for those of us who could not otherwise visit these cemeteries, be able to visit them on line. Would you mind my using the photos you submit of my families on my Ancestry and Family TreeMaker files? I value very much the work you are doing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

|Gabby and Jonas||Sponsorship|
Thank you so much for sponsoring Rick Marcellus' page!! My mom entered his information to findagrave & in the process, showed my two kiddos how to do it. She was a classmate of Rick's prior to him leaving on the Albatross. She was huge into geanaolgy & found findagrave useful in her research. Anyways, she passed away a year ago, so now I'm learning how to maintain all the memorials she entered, etc. thanks again for sponsoring Rick!!!

From my family to yours, I would like to thank you immensely for sponsoring this young child's page. His life was important and his execution, although extremely sad, means a lot to so many people. God bless you and your family.
|Carolyn Leverich Atkinson||Poem|
I just wanted to tell you that the poem you wrote for your mother is most beautiful. Thank you for sharing your gift.

|Bernard Johnson||Marvin Gay Sr.|
I do not know how those repeated messages occurred, please remove them. Other than this, I just spoke with a reliable source at Holy Cross and they have no record of Marvin Gay Sr. being buried there. Can you tell me what proof or source this came about? I'd be interested in finding him.
