This site is a tremendous boon to genealogist as well as people like like "exploring" the famous gravesites that we may never be able to visit. |
I am a huge genealogy buff!

|G-Man||RE: Transfer request|
Done - in the future, when you want to request a transfer, use the edit button on the memorial - "suggest other correction or addition" - type a brief request transfer note and include the memorial number.

I have taken care of the links thanks for the information.
|Helen Schwartz||RE: John Gunther Jr|
Hi, thanks for reminding me; I tried once before to make the connection between mother and son but someone else had created a Frances Gunther with the wrong maiden name. I just requested again.
|Time Traveler||RE: Judith Gunther # 137826428|
It lists Judith as the half-sibling of John Gunther, Jr., because the person who manages his memorial only added the same father, and did not include the mother. The Find-A-Grave system will automatically indicate a half-sibling, unless both parents are included.

Please Note: While I write biographies for famous listings, I do not hold editing privileges and can make no changes; famous listings are entirely within the pervue of administration. To request any additions to famous memorials, you must email email@example.com to submit updates. Be sure to include a link to the memorial record or the memorial ID #.

|LSP||Alexander McNutt Paxton|
THANKS so much for alerting me to additional son Alexander of Elisha and Margaret Paxton and your source of the google book. I've been working on digging up more data on him (and his family) and have yet to find a confirmed/sourced death date for 18 Jun 1886. My emerging site is on Find A Grave #124354185. I found him mentioned in his dad's will as well. I found his wife and a few kids' graves so far.
The endless search continues,

Changes made thanks for keeping me on my toes. Eastside was a big job I under took to enter in Find A Grave. I first started out just taking random photos & then changed to using a cemetery book that had the memorials listed. Which both methods I was missing memorials. I finally came up with walking through each section & taking photos & making files to keep up with. So between photos & using the Weakley County Cemetery book & my late night typing I missed a few. I think right now Eastside is at 97% photos taken & I was shooting for 99%. I don't know that I can make that goal because of new memorials being added & a few double memorials. Thanks for your help & if you see any other mistakes let me know that I have done.

Thank You for the update on the obit from Murphy Funeral Home for William T. Newsom. What I posted was an exact copy of what Murphy posted first. I just use cut & paste & never try to rewrite. After your message I went back and looked for the change. It's great having a Find A Grave family to help with additions & Corrections.
