 | Alice Thank you for asking. Hugh is doing well - obviously he will never be the same but the therapies are helping. His speech has really improved and they are now working on improving the coordination between his body moving and his eyes aiming at improving his balance so he can walk unassisted. We are still in a struggle to ensure his medical coverage and that looks like it will still take some time. Our days are one of physio, speech, writing, remembering, pills and appointments!! We will get there though, I have no doubt, there are way too many people praying for us not to!
I am glad my sister remembered we had laid the wreath for Edmund. My dad used to take us up the mountains for walks as kids to get us out of mums hair for a while. He was never satisfied until he was at the top. Us poor kids and our little legs were wrecked by the time we got there but it is now a fond memory. He was found going up the mountain about 6 days after having a hip replacement!! Honestly, the things my da did.
Sorry she didn't take any photos for me to send you but I will leave Edmund a couple of Easter Lilies just so you see the flowers.
So pleased Damon is doing well and hope he has a great trip. Sure sounds wonderful. Love and Take Care.

 | RE: Jones/King Thanks for the info Alice. Mom's GGGrandfather was Squire George King Jones, Jane's brother.
Do you have anyone beyond Charles Coplan Jones and his wife Mary Polly King? Any idea where they are buried? | | | GREG THEIS
 | Laurel Grove Can you advise me how to pursue the following ?
Re: June Wilkinson - Block 11 Space 17 Row 3
1) Would like to order flowers and get them placed at her gravesite on/about June 13.
2) Would like to get a photo of her Grave-marker and add it to Find-a-Grave.com
Thanks in advance,

 | RE: Minter's Hi Alice, We have ordered a stone for Silas & his father John with their wives Nancy & Susanah. Will make pics. when its inst'd & send them to you. When we cleaned it up we counted abt. 20 gravesites with stones with no ledgible marks & 1 site for Sila's horse. Don't know of any documentation other than the e-mail I describe on F.A.G from his great-great grandaughter Sandra Johnson who has since past away and memories of living descendants we have talked with who live in the area. We have checked with the Historical Society in Bassett, Va. & the local historian Desmond Kendrick who has personal knowledge of the site. All the pics. I made of the site are posted on F.A.G. Hope this info. helps.
Stay in contact, Bill.Added by billy on May 12, 2013 1:17 PM | | | Rosetta Neeson
 | Alice Haven't got on Find A Grave much lately but always think of you and Edmund. Wondering how Damon is doing. Just thought you'd like to know my sister went up the mountain in honour of my dad for Easter. She brought Easter Lilies for him which is our traditional Easter flower - little politics associated with it - lol. She also replaced the wreath for Edmund that I had left when I visited. She had gone up the mountain with me then, so Edmund now officially has the honour of White Lilies on Black Mountain. Remembering him always. | | | rhelgato
 | Abner Stultz In reading your profile, I realized we are looking for some of the same people: Stultz, Minter, Ziglar,Jones. There is a Stultz cemetery in Henry County in the area known as Leatherwood, but I haven't been able to locate that cemetery yet. there is also a Minter cemetery close by, but again don't know where. Who are you looking for? Our ancestry may be crossing paths.I hope to go looking this summer. Kathy, rhelgato

 | Jane King Ziglar Griggs Have been interested in the whereabouts of this lady for years. Have some recollections from her life in Virginia while married to George Griggs from relatives who knew her step children. Interested in knowing about her as a person rather than just dates. What did she look like and her personal characteristics? Thank you. Kathy, rhelgatoAdded by rhelgato on May 05, 2013 6:08 PM | | | Linda Sult
 | RE: Hi Linda Hi Alice....I am on Ancestry...My tree name is Sult Family Tree. I am stuck at Jacob HawleyI know that he was born in New York and his wife is Abigail..But have no last name for her..I found Jacob and Abigail married on the 1850 census and than on 1856 census Jacob is shown as Widow. They were in Ohio in 1850 and Iowa in 1856. And than at one point they were in Brookfield Michigan and than he moved with Sarah and Peter to Missouri. Where do you come into the family? I'd love to see your tree....
