I have been doing genealogy for over 25 years and am addicted to it. My main lines for me are Paty/Patty, Coghill, Ferguson, Merryman, and spread far & wide from there with other names being Briddle, Spicer, Smith, Watson, Redden, Parrott & others too numerous to mention. My husband's lines are May, Leatherman, Yaw/Yow, LeSure, McKelvey, Hartsell, Bates, Hadden, Bundy, Tate & on & on. Go to my home page listed here & from there you can go to each of my lines. I haven't contributed many to findagrave yet but hope to add many more. Any photos that I have taken and post on this site are free to anyone. You have my permission to copy them for personal use or post to another genealogy site.
Elmer May, Mexia Cem. Morning Fern, A question: Buried next to Elmer is M.S. Chaffin (1879-1953) and since your hubby is a May, was checking to see if this person is a relative or family friend. That way I know whether or not to include him, or her, in a plot foto. Later, James Coston
Emmie & Henry Patty I posted the bio about Emmie, but not the obituary. Per the Help section, obituaries should not be posted on memorials. For Henry: is the other information paraphrased or copied word for word? If it is paraphrased I will post it.
Claude Thomspon Hi Fern,as far as having Claude linked as his own sibling,I didn't do this. Other contributors besides myself have noticed this happening since siblings have started being linked. I even contacted find a grave wanting to know why it's being done that way,and they never answered me back. All I know is that it started after ancestry.com bought this site. If you find out how to remove it,please let me know. LaDonna
James "Jimmy" Don Brockway Thanks, Fern, for linking Jimmy's memorial to his parents and for correcting my stupid mistake of asking for a link to his maternal grandparents instead. I appreciate your email which pointed out my error. You are a real asset to findagrave.
