I have been doing genealogy for over 25 years and am addicted to it. My main lines for me are Paty/Patty, Coghill, Ferguson, Merryman, |
and spread far & wide from there with other names being Briddle, Spicer, Smith, Watson, Redden, Parrott & others too numerous to mention.
My husband's lines are May, Leatherman, Yaw/Yow, LeSure, McKelvey, Hartsell, Bates, Hadden, Bundy, Tate & on & on.
Go to my home page listed here & from there you can go to each of my lines.
I haven't contributed many to findagrave yet but hope to add many more.
Any photos that I have taken and post on this site are free to anyone. You have my permission to copy them for personal use or post to another genealogy site.

Sorry about the misspelling. I believe I was thinking of someone I knew that spelled their Patty. Thanks David
|Reta Ruff||John Coghill|
I am from Searcy County, Eula , Arkansas.I grew up very near Stack Rock mountain on Richland.John J. Coghill homesteaded there in 1920. His parents Amos & Apelena Coghill also were here in the early 20s. John has a sister,Effie Dora, who is buried here along with her husband W.H. Eveleigh. Their graves are on top of the notorious stack rock mountain just out in the woods. where the coghills had a field back then.Very few know who they are. My parents Dan & Ethel Ruff rented the land from John in 1931 and grew corn. They knew John and knew who the graves were. Recently i have added their graves to find a grave and named the cemetery "Stack Rock" as an effort to preserve the history. I would like to contact you for a visit. You may want to add Effie to your list of siblings for John. You can see pics of the graves on find a grave also.

I really don't know what the Find A Grave guidelines are, I am not into Find A Grave for getting lots of number entered, I just like for cemeteries in my area to be up to date on Find A Grave and am willing for anyone who knows, or is "kin" to the ones I have entered to be owners of the memorial.

Hello, are you related to Mary & William Smith buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in Jones County Texas? Would you like Managment control of them?
Can you send me Nancys Find A Grave # and I will get her transferred to you

You are most welcome!!!
My pleasure - glad I could help!!!
|James Coston||Elmer May, Mexia Cem.|
Buried next to Elmer is M.S. Chaffin (1879-1953) and since your hubby is a May, was checking to see if this person is a relative or family friend.
That way I know whether or not to include him, or her, in a plot foto.
Later, James Coston
